  • Not all Kegs are the same. KegLand Ball Lock Kegs are the highest quality with superior workmanship, quality materials and thoroughly tested prior to shipping.
If you are looking for the best quality kegs at the lowest price you wont find a better keg anywhere else.

I'm not sure all the things you show as "rust" are that, but there's certainly a difference in that weld quality and a smooth weld makes cleaning and sanitizing much easier.
As for the used kegs, almost all mine are old soft drink Spartanburg or Cornelius Co made in the US and are many years old with NO rust etc.
Even though they've been used and abused I think the quality of these is excellent.
I only have 1 x Chinese keg and perhaps got lucky as it seems good too and was passivated internally but not outside.
I have seen some poor quality imported items and I'm glad you put in the effort to make your kegs of good quality but still at an excellent price.
I know where to buy my planned 2x 9.5l kegs and any replacement kegs I may want to replace a couple of dented ones.

Great video, one of my buddies refuses to use anything except kegland kegs ... unfortunately they are too wide for my application (mini kegorator)

Is there supposed to be 1 tube or 2 tubes inside the keg? Ours only has one inside and we have just opened it.

Yes just one tube is normal.

Isn't it amazing that China has 1.4 billion people; but, it makes mostly shoddy products.

Kegs made from Type 304 stainless ( the most common type used very widely in sinkbench tops, dairy equipment & the like). With appropriate techniques, which are well known in the stainless industry, theyshould be fault free & free from "rust" staining or any weld imperfections.
It is generally considered unnecessary to passivate the surfaces for anything other than cosmetic reasons.
The poor quality keg used for comparison here is a disgracefull attempt & reflects a complete lack of care in the manufacturing process.
I own 8 kegs of ages from 2 to 20 years, many have been "dinged"especially on the bottom from overly rough handling, probably in a former life. One even displays a short manual weld repair. Non exhibit rusting or staining, I expect an almost limitless life from all except maybe the repaired unit. Just adding a little perspective!
