Another way to differentiate your gas from your liquid post is the gas side always has some groves in the base. "G" for groove - "G" for gas. I didn't know you didn't have to have a gas dip tube.

Thanks for the info and the part numbers, and the tech.!
Now, what would those of us do that need to replace some poppet valves,( at a reasonable cost), and don't have a metric sh&# ton of kegs?
