Best of luck and welcome to the sport!
If you haven't shot this style of competition before don't be discouraged by the initial learning curve. Do your best to build stable positions, find the targets, and break clean shots. Speed comes with time so don't worry if you time out on the stages. It's important to practice fundamentals first.
Lastly, stay safe and have fun! Let me know how it goes.

Definitely a mixed bag of results. I struggled to build stable positions and timed out on 4 of the 5 stages which wasn't unexpected. I did feel like I understood the stages and only shot the wrong target once that I can remember. I also felt like my dope calls were pretty good so not all bad and I definitely learned a lot and had fun. Thanks for the encouragement and Ill for sure be looking out for next months video.

Sounds like it was an overall positive experience. I'm glad you had fun! Getting stable in awkward positions is a big part of the learning curve. If you're not shooting prone or some sort of modified prone position there will always be some wobble. With time the wobble will become smaller and smaller and you'll learn when to break your shot to have the best chance of impacting the target.
I also attended a match today and did pretty well. I'll have that footage up in the next day or two and hopefully that will give you some ideas of how I tackle the stages.
As always at the beginning of each month I will have strategy videos for that month's course of fire.
      Welcome to the sport!

Looks like you’ve added weight to the very front of the arca rail?? What did you use for the weight, how much weight did you add?

I used copper bars. I'll have a video about it soon. It's nearly 2.5 lbs. I only needed it to balance the weight of the TriggerCam which is a pound hanging of the end of the scope.
