- Mohammed Jawad was one of the youngest prisoners ever held at the US prison facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
He has finally been returned to Afghanistan, seven years after he was arrested in Afghanistan on suspicion of throwing a grenade at US forces.
Now, he says he wants compensation from the US government for years of mistreatment and for spending most of his teens in a cell.
Al Jazeera's James Bays reports from Kabul.
Children should never have to go threw this , It is a crime against children and those who did this should be held accountable.

I think they were just trying to defend their own Country and were angry because their wives, children, brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers were being killed with little or no remorse at the time. Why do you assume that he was quilty? you must take these peoples experience on a individual basis, rather than making them all terrorists. The fact that innocent people are being locked up and being tortured, is my concern.
I wasnt comparing Guantanamo bay to the Jewish holocaust, And it isnt World War 2 so why are you comparing punishments, it just concerns me that people have completely desensitized themselves from evident injustice.
