Great vid. I've always rooted for the underdogs in every world cup and there's always 2-3 national teams that surprise everybody with their spirit and skill. Wish we had more of that in F1. The last season in which we had many genuinely competitive teams - all with the a shot at victory - was in 1997, although some say that 2012 was fairly unpredictable too. When I hear Brazil I think "Great racing drivers and great football players." I recall the Brazilian team paying respect to the late Ayrton Senna after Brazil won the world cup in 1994.
Nice video but you forgot to include the king of dribble Vasilis Chatzipanagis although you are refering to world cup and never had the chance to play due to technical details.
@@lightningmcdweeb - Spain 1982 had the awful W.Germany-Austria where both decided to go for a tie so Algeria would get eliminated. It was 90 minutes of NOTHING, a match so bad that the FIFA changed how World Cups are scheduled. Nowadays, the final day of each group phase is done IN THE SAME DAY AT THE SAME TIME to avoid teams from doing like West Germany and Austria did. Spain 1982 also had some incredibly bad refereeing. Blatant faults that didn't become penalty kicks, MANY missed handballs and a lot more bad stuff. Spain 1982 was a shitshow.
Antti, which national team do you support then ? Apart Finland, off course. I guess, everyone will cheer for their home country, but Finland is´nt championship material ;)

1997 did not have a World Cup, it was 1998 and only 4-5 teams had an actual shot at the win
