United won this pulsating match, thanks to an Andy Cole header (Cole was sent off in the second half, after lashing out at Rigobert Song), sandwiched by two Jamie Carragher own goals. - กีฬา
I swear Beckham was a cheat code , i've never Seen a player cross a ball with laser precision every.single.Time. the best crosser ever and one of the best passers of all time .
Very underrated. I think he was World class
His long pass rating by default on Pro Evo Soccer was always 99%
He's still incredibly underrated. He was a solid 8 out of 10 minimum every game, even in his worst performances he gave everything and work so hard for his team mates.
@@deathbystereo- nope. Beckham is fairly rated. He came second in Ballon d'Or 1999 and FIFA World Player of The Year 1999 and 2001.
@@deathbystereo-100% world class. An absolute wand of a right food. Great determination and aggression. A joy to watch in my teenage years
That ball by Beckham on the second goal was perfect.
How I wish I could go back to 1999-2000
Good times
Me, too. I was 19 years old, playing semi-professional football in Latin America and watching the Premier League on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
i would go back 5 to 7 years more than 1999 to be honest.
Beckham was dangerous on set piece
Absolutely
Not just that, sublime passer of a ball as well
You just don’t see the will to win from modern day Man U players they should take a look at this game to see what the Man U Liverpool Darby means !!
Carragher's finest goal.
😂😂😂
His second showed great poacher instincts too.
Now he show us that his best are really just talking 😂
He's always criticizing others like he's a GOAT
Bullet
I miss Martin Tyler and Andy Gray in commentary
that long ball to giggs was superb. I think it was from Becks
Definitely from Becks

These were the days when football was at its best up until around 2010 football was just excellent
unbelievable that you ve made such similar comments to me
@@jamesburke2094 I haven’t even seen your comments I don’t read any comments I just leave them. But yeah it’s weird that we’ve put similar comments I’ll read yours later or something.
@@David_Mc_Our_God_Reigns
I've written them across social media
The quality of football really took a huge dive around that time
As Keane said, the ability to pass and move is key , and some professional players cannot, and he rightly goes on about how shockingly bad that is given them being pro.
1 way to be able to identify drops in quality is the number of scored direct free kicks. I gave this some thought, and I think that principle is true, and secondly there are few around scoring fks frequently, in contrast to many years ago...
Not that scored direct fks is something I look for in football....
No defending, no possession….that’s why. Just throw ball into box! Some of the mistakes in this game we’re Maguire-esque x 2.
Hoof n hope football lol that was the english league for you pace n power n crosses a plenty
Jaap Stam was the rock in that team that held it together defensively allowing them to attack like that. In 2001-02 you seen how much they missed him when he left for Lazio. Ferguson’s biggest mistake
Now we have that stupid Harry Maguire
Jaap was incredible, but he lost a little pace after his injury. It worked out for the best since they got Ferdinand the following season. The mistake was probably getting in a slow and old Laurent Blanc to replace him.
If he was sold on form it would have been acceptable, but he was sold for what he wrote in a bloody book. Ferguson's biggest mistake, along with selling Van Nistelrooy.
@@joekavanagh7171 Ruud wanted to go. He'd have broken records if he'd stayed and we adored him.
Rock for just one half time. At full time see what happen to milan 2005 😢
Closest Jamie Carragher has ever come to contributing for league title win ,just with the wrong club
He is trash.
Yet Mr expert and chief criticiser about every player now - piece of cheek considering how shit he was.
At that stage of the season he was one of United’s leading scorers! 😂😂
Carragher and jamie redknapp were liver overrated player at that time 😂
Carragher: 508 league games for Liverpool and scored 3 goals
Carragher: 1 league game against Man.Utd and scores 2 goals.Utd should have snapped him up ;-)
David Beckham the most outstanding free kick tacker
Two of the finest goals Spitty scored
Carragher at his most clinical 😂
Now we all know why he is such a bigmouth pundit 😂
the sky sports sound effects are greatest! sounds like there's an explosion every time there's a replay
This video bring us good old nostalgia about how good Premier League in end of 1990's and early 2000's. Time flies but I'm still support Man United until today :)
Football in general peaked mid 90s - mid 00s
Nicky did a hand of god..and got 3 points for his team.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏l
It was Nicky Butt
Prime Carragher was better than Prime Maguire back then, classy own goals, quality shirt pulling defending😂😂😂
When was prime maguire? half a season with leicester well after they'd hit their peak?
@@innercityprepperit was at man utd. Sarcasm
@@erlanggaprasetyo1606at least you watched MU last match 😂 carragher have a great relationship with liver management that is why he can play for a long time eventhough he was a lousy defender ever 🤣
Liverpool won champions league in 2004/05, beat juventus, chelsea and milan with carragher in their defence. What maguire did?
@@erlanggaprasetyo1606 bro it's not carragher who win it. It is luis garcia, xabi alonso, smicer, wtf carra did when milan scored three goal at the first half? 🤭 even liver penalty was not a penalty. Look at the replay, gattuso's foot are not touch gerard at all so it is a clearly diving. Lucky liver VAR are not yet exist but I'm glad gerard got his instant karma when slip against chelsea so he never win the premier league at his football career as a player 🤣
Ahhh the good old days, as an arsenal fan I can honestly say that I've never seen a player like Michael Owen. Christ he was fast and could finish.
Henry?
If Owen stayed at his young prime quality and injury free Henry wouldn’t have touched him tbf
Anelka?
@@eponymous7910 yes Anelka was quality also. Would loved to have seen Henry and Anelka play together as a partnership.
What? 😂
Carraghers finest half of football :)
Lord carragher >>> umtiti + phil jones + lenglet 😂
Can't believe Jamies scores for MU
Glory Glory Man United
Wow the intensity is mad! 👀
Jamie "Maguire" Carragher
Saturday 11th September 1999
We used to be so dangerous on set-pieces...
That was a clear handball, how did man u got away......lolooololoool
and people say beckham is overated. look at the long balls. so accurate. thats why fifa 2000 passes are accurate and fifa 2023 passes are not accurate anymore.
if anything, because of his good looks and personal life, fickle fans forget that Beckham was a world class player.
Could play RM or CM, tracked back, worked hard for the team, great inter-play between team-mates, and the best crosser of the ball (could spray vertical or diagonal long balls).
VAR penalty for pulling giggs shirt and disallowed hyppia's goal for foul on Taibi. BTW, 2 carragher own goals in front of the kop 😂
Couldn’t cope with those Beckham crosses, he just had to head them into his own net to appreciate them 👍🏻
seeing the filth beaten is always a thrill
The days ssss we used to 'swat' most opponent aside. 👹
That tackle and through ball by Keano for third goal
This was a really entertaining game even though I was embarrassed my team lost. I used to take everything so personally as a teenager.
Beckham number one
Just saw a Massimo Taibi save in a Man U quit, incredible haha
1:56 Beckham dribbling past Gerrard
And ManUtd scored from the resulting freekick so that was naive from Gerrard.
But it looked like Beckham did to Gerrard following that foul the same thing as he did to DiegoSimeone in WC98 that got him sent off.
But to be honest that Danish ref was a joke and shouldn't have given him a red.
Also Carragher always escaped worse offences in this fixture and Everton fans think he did vs them also.
jamie carragher doing well as an everton supporter here
😂😂
old school utd v Liverpool love it
A few of the usual players who either assisted/scored in this fixture for ManUtd from the previous few season's AndyCole & Carragher 😅 with Beckham again having big role.
Gorgeous little finish by Carragher that
Carragher was fantastic for Utd that day.
what i wouldn't do to have a young David Beckham again
When we had a team
England's Shame 2-3 Making England proud since 1878.
You should be singing scotland songs out of respect for fergie
@@adampowell5481 And for Denis Law and Martin Buchan etc and even louder for Sir Matt, THE greatest manager of all time 👍
Carragher outscored the entire MU team
1990s-2000s Martin Tyler
2010s-now Peter Drury
Martin Tyler remains my best commentator upto now
Ah the good days when their was genuine rivalry.
Was this before or after the Prawn Sanwich Revolution?
best performance from Jamie Carragher. He should win Ballon D'Or this year.
As my Mum would say, if you're going to do something - do it properly. Andy Cole's reacting to Song fits that definition. If you're going to be booked/sent off for reaction, doing it Cole's way helps!
Amazing game
Wow some of those tackles if been done today will see a straight red card
Скільки таких прекрасних матчів було,але потім прийшов ВАР і цей прекрасний футбол майже зник😢😢😢
listen to martin tyler every time utd score, he sounds so disappointed
Yet when Berger scored he nearly came in his pants. Couldn't hide who he supported could he
I'm still haunted by his "Agueroooo!"
Grandes jogos que assistir tinha que excluí tudos saia zar não tem só eu que importa esses jogos aí esse era time do Liverpool
United is better team ❤
The great taibi😅
4:12...LOL... Players were getting away with murder back when there was no VAR
Carra did score some beauties
Should have checked VAR that was a penalty mo salah what a game
8:20 whenever Beckham involved himself in these fracas he's like a bird on the peripheries of a pub fight going "leave him Dave he's not worth it!"
Best game of carraghers life.what a prat
Ah yes the usual " balanced commentary " from Gray and pal .
Glory Manchester United ❤️🤍👹👺😊
7 x 0
11out of 10 then
Beautiful 😻
I’m never going to moan about VAR again
imagine VAR established on those days, there will be many penalties and red card for sure
Damn, Stevie G look like a school kid in here lol
Sad to see what united were then and what they are now.
As for Liverpool , Gerard was the most overrated brat in the team. Jealousy just ate him up like a little brat.
We actually beat Liverpool wit Taibi in goal wow
Remember when we used to go to Anfield and win... what a time that was
Young steven gerard
Its great to see Liverpool being thrashed.
Thanks Carra 😂
The missed handball from Butt was refereeing in Fergies time 🤦
Didn’t know spitty Carragher used to play for united lol
Jamie Carragher classic this game was.
Corridor of uncertainty as I would call it. Or, that I borrowed from Boycott!
Carragher and Gerrard were very young
All those Premiership medals were still in their futures….errr….errr
@@barrymcnorton5194 Boring now lad, they were hereos of the most thrilling football match ever.
Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Carragher was once a Maguire
i had Stam's shirt because in the mirror it said my name
เจมี่ คาร์ราเกอร์ โหม่งบอลอย่างสวยสุดยอดกองหลังระดับโลกจริง ๆ . 😂
All the better for being at anfield.
And would VAR give Giggsy a penalty for having his shirt ripped off his back ...MUFC rule....Carragher excellent header 😂

Jamie MaCarraguire !
Wow Beckham
real football
Didn’t bother watching the second half; what’s the point!
Great header by Butt.
Taibi was dreadful
"The best" MU goalkeeper Masimmo Taibi .. :)
Never seen a player pass a ball like becks
Golobradi Stevie G

United under Fergie had the refs in their pockets for 25 years lol. This isn't a surprise at all.
@@vlnakajr2346 5:27 surely ref under Fergie pocket and that cole red card
If VAR existed those days, it will be a penalty for the handball
Same with Giggs being pulled down though. Should've been 3-4 (assuming both pens converted ofc)
I think it would have been 2 pens and 2 reds, ref had a mare that day
Tottaly agree with you but also Giggs being pulled in the Liverpool area was a penaly as well.
And the pull back on giggs
There's no handball! It was God's hand! 😂😂😂
If Butt did this today, the Var will have a firld day.
Wish I could mute Andy Gray.
Dari umurku mulai mengenal PS.. aku tidak pernah memainkan liverpool, karena sangat lambat..😂
