Family of 12 in NYC ❤️🗽 The Milk Bar 🙌🏼 Sunday Afternoon in West Village

- This Sunday our family (well most of our family because Pearl was doing a chamber music event in Massachusetts) went to church in West Village in Lower Manhattan and then we went to "The Milk Bar". Wow that place was AMAZING! I definitely want to go there again! The kids tried a little bit of everything. The "Cereal Milk" softserve with cereal topping was so yummy! Definitely a comfort food sort of place. Very creative too! Then we head home (to Harlem in upper Manhattan) and eat some Crock Pot Chicken Quinoa Casserole. It was a winner! Recently our Trader Joe's started carrying Enchilada Sauce (one of the ingredients) and it was really very good. Naomi said it reminded her of the filling in those microwave burritos you buy. It was really good and almost had the "junk food" yumminess to it, but without the guilt.👍🏻 #largefamilylife #nyc #sundayafternoon #dayinthelife

As a history buff myself, I always enjoy when Josiah gives a bit of historical information on NY and I am curious to know more! It would be so awesome for him to have a full episode once a week on The Happy Caravan, or even his own channel. He could take us on walking tours and through museums! And it also would add to his academic profile should he decide to pursue graduate school. Go for it Josiah!

It is so sweet that all of the kids share their treats. I am amazed at all the different stores and shops they have there and the wide variety of items you can buy. Tell Josiah I said he is a handsome Dapper young man. He is also very intelligent. Amber, you and Marc and have done an excellent job of raising your children. As a kid, when I went to Sunday school (when in 5-6 grade, not the younger years), the teacher would teach the class then at the end, ask questions. Everyone who got the answer correct got a candy bar. Made all of us pay close attention to what the teacher was saying because those candy bars looked so good! I wonder how long it took to build all of the connecting NYC train stations ... can't even imagine. Thank you for another great video! 🙏❤

She had that tradition for years going to the donut shop before church on Sunday morning, now I'm by myself and I go to the donut shop four or five times a week, meet my friends there sometimes do my Bible study, work on whatever I'm writing at the time for my TH-cam channel. I enjoy your videos little mo is really starting to talk good❤

In Australia we have a "Milk Bar" almost on every corner In the Suburbs a bit like your convenience stores, back in the day it was a kind of local kids hang out we still have them in Victoria 😊

When you all share your food it is just like my family we all take bites out of everything. My daughters boyfriend was horrified that we all share food and eat each other’s leftovers because his family would never do it . They eat from their own plate only.

We have worn pants for a while. 5 years ago we went to an IFB church that said women shouldn’t wear pants but when we found out the music director there was a child predator we got out quickly and in the process we realized some things the church taught bordered on being cultish. So we have just looked at the Bible for ourselves and have tried to make the best choices for our family.
@@TheHappyCaravan Oh I see. Just sharing: I am Traditional Catholic since 2017. I used to wear jeans, bikinis, short skirts. Tank tops etc. I have since learned how immodest and displeasing and irreverent wearing mens britches is to Our Lord. I only wear pjs ( pants) in my home.
I have never looked back. I wouldnt let a bloody predator interfere with what is pleasing to God. However, it is as you said,.. your decision.
