- Meal plan below ⬇️ Weekly grocery haul for our family of 13 in NYC. We shop at Costco and Trader Joe's on Tuesday evening. (Our Costco is in Harlem and our Trader Joe's is on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.) We bring Anna, (12), Chloe (10), Enoch (7), Melody (5), Moses (2) and Neta (7 months).
Here is our meal plan:
Wednesday: Hot Bean Dip & Chips, Dinner: Chili, Bread & Salad
Thursday: Ham & Cheese Pinwheels w/ strawberries, Dinner: Lamb Korma & Naan
Friday: Baked Potatoes w/ Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato, Dinner: Lasagna & Salad
Saturday: Turkey Sandwiches w/Provolone & Avocado, Chips, Green Tea & Cantaloupe, Dinner: Beans & Mexican Rice
Sunday: Out for Lunch, Dinner: Nachos
Monday: Tuna Melts, Dinner: Fettuccine Alfredo & Broccoli
Tuesday: Burritos, Dinner: Costco Food, Pizza, Chicken & Salad

If I had a husband like Mark who helps with the cooking and actually goes grocery shopping with me I would’ve definitely had more children. Unfortunately my ex-husband was a narcissist and helped me with absolutely nothing. I wish I would’ve gotten to know God sooner so I could’ve married the man God had for me. Amber, you were truly blessed. 🙏🏽
I know right I'm sure that's one of the reasons they have so many children because Mark is a great husband and does so much for his family.
Did your husband work or stay home like Mark. Poor guy has nothing else to do.

@dinahquillen9380 Marc works at a 9-5 job. He’s a project manager for ASI signs. He does get to work from home sometimes.

The Dawn powerwash is definitly worth it. Its more powerful and you will use less of it compared to the regular dish soap 👍🏼
Just a tip: If you buy water from the food carts or corner delis (not the fancy one), water is likley $1 or $2. But we also bring water whenever we go too 😉
Each week just the same meaning children so so good sweethearts ❤ mo was a good helper , I bet chole could done the shop in store by her self , and Enoch is such a super star at asking and showing interest , and Neta was so so with it she watch things being put in cart , your a amazing family , your so nice amber and good at film vlogs , you and mack are so good watching the children but the way you give the children that but if free run and trust is really good , keep smiling showing love, bless you all xxx 😍🥰🤩👍🍀🌻

I would love to see how you do the ham/cheese rollups
With the Dawn power wash. Once you have the bottle, you don’t have to buy the refills. You just put some regular Dawn in the bottle, with a little bit of rubbing alcohol and water. And there you go. It’s cheaper and works great

@@TheHappyCaravan honestly, I use much less dish soap when using the spray bottle than the regular way. So it is economical
I use the Dawn spray on anything greasy like the stovetop or cabinets near the stove. It’s great!

As a Midwest Farmer's Daughter in Indiana, we had chicken, pork, and beef. I've only had lamb twice and it was nasty. I'm sure it was the way it was prepared. I'd be willing to try yours. 😊

Speaking of Dates, did you make your protein balls? It reminded me you mentioned them a long time ago. Those Plushies for Neta turned out to be a great idea. They hold her interest as well as holding her safely. Tell Dad he looks great in his new clothes.
you always show dinner...show us breakfast and lunch..even if its a bowl of cereal and leftovers. the kids do not have to be shown eating at the same time...just when ever. i also enjoy you shopping trips.

I can’t do mint with toothpaste or mouthwash. Even the non alcoholic mouthwash burns the inside of my mouth if it’s too minty

@@nancyfarkas3592 ironically I am cleaning my teeth and my mouth is burning even with watered down mouthwash. My mouth is constantly shedding a layer of skin. It's a relatively rare symptom of crohns disease.

Have you tried the chocolate filled croissants from Trader Joe’s that you get in the frozen section. Four in a box for around $5. They are a great treat to bake occasionally. Let them rise overnight and bake in the morning. Have a great week! Love your videos❣️

I find these hauls really relaxing. And it's fun to see you guys adventuring around New York. A tip that you may want to try sometimes with your lasagna I like to mix a couple tablespoons of pesto into my ricotta or my cottage cheese for a basil bite. Chef's kiss 💚

And I love the shopping ones as they are about so much more then buying food. I love watching and hearing the children grow and the positive parenting going on and learning more each video about NYC ( I am a midwesterner). Each shopping trip is an adventure. Whether you but coconut cream or taco chips etc I find infinite wisdom and amusement in how people relate to each other. God bless!
