@@mariowario5945 Ironically I played this on piano at my grandpa's funeral, because he played street fighter with me growing up, and he was also a military veteran! So, I say it does go with a funeral!
Troopers! I have just received new orders. Our superiors say the wait is cancelled, and we can all go dance. Vinyl is getting paid off for his time, and our friends will have remixed here...will have remixed for nothing. But...we can all dance. Meanwhile, ideas like 2A03, VRC6, and 5B, they get packed up, but, we can all dance. Well, I'm not gonna dance. I'm gonna get on my mp3 player, and I'm gonna download this, and I'm going to loop that stun of a chip so HARD that the next Vinyl wanna-Cheese is gonna feel it. Now who wants to dance, and who wants to blast with me?
is the dpcm slap bass a private material or something because i saw it in the instrument list in a couple covers but seems to not have been posted anywhere
If you want the best sound to ram ratio, 6 channels is the way to go with the n163. sure you might have reduced RAM, but it will make a huge difference when making music tracks.
Man, if the Chinese bootlegs reverse-engineered a N163 and slapped it onto their PCBs, covering it up with the little plastic drop like they did with the ROM, I wonder how good the music would have been. Spoiler: Still pretty shit, their drivers were godawful.
@@supmattboy I was thinking he was referring to Lion King V: Timon and Pumbaa, but they didn't use the bass as far as I know. Looked a bit deeper, look up Blood Of Jurassic. That one is a light game that uses the Sunsoft bass sample.
Learn to use effects properly, if you’re good with them, you’ll never have to make any instruments, although instruments make things easier, effects are just better for fine tuning
Babe, wake up. VinylCheese just posted.
Bison, wake up. VinylCheese just posted.
Everything goes with Guile's Theme
Especially Guile's Theme
Not a funeral

My god it sounds so full. That DPCM bass is incredible too!!!!!!!!
Even a song as played to death as Guile's Theme sounds amazing in your skillful hands.
it takes guts to cover a track as good as this one. your arrangement more than does it justice.
Your N163 stuff is absolutely nuts, it’s always a treat to hear your music!
You sir have the most accurate and clean remakes of classics far ahead of anyone on TH-cam. Literal God.
Check out Savaged Regime.
@@Phil_529 I gotta admit I've been enjoying Savaged Regime's covers also very much
Are you man enough to cover Guile's theme?
Apparently so, this sounds amazing.

Bassline is amazing!
Triangle channel: "Am I just a joke to you?"
Go home and be a family triangle.
" He fights for truth, but he'll espouse. that Guile only fights without his eyebrows!"
underrated classic. Those lyrics are all I hear from this song anymore lol
Complete 🔥
The Pitch sounds like the Arcade Version of Super Street Fighter II.
Amazing as usual, I really like the combination of a DPCM Bass and the Namco chip! :O
Just two N163 channels and no triangle channel, and it still slaps.
And heavy usage of DCPM samples for the bass.
Anyone know how VC got the drums so punchy using only noise and not triangle + noise?
They said it couldn’t be done
You just made Guile’s theme

This is just phenomenal.
Man I wish I could complete things I started years ago. Regardless, awesome work as always!
Imagine if this played in master fighter iii (street fighter bootleg on famicom).

Hey, if I might make a suggestion, could you check out "Ex Machina" from Monolith? I'd love to hear your take on that song if it interests you.

Every time I watch this, I am surprised at how well you use the 'speed 1' thing in famitracker.
Okay, wow.
That's it, I have no more words. Imma go listen that on repeat a bajillion times.

Question. How do you keep track on which instrument is which, as you don't name them.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's some of those are unused. For example, I don't think the Famicom Disk System instrument is doing anything.
