Can't believe I sat through the entire length of this one, but Taylor you're an entertaining chap to watch, and Iceland is one hell of an epic location...👍
You outdid yourself with this one. My wife hates photography videos, but she really enjoyed yours. We drove the Ring Road a couple of years ago, so that helped, but she also said you were funny.
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto It did. It was quite good. We went to the same puffin viewing spot - lots at the top in August, ate lots of hotdogs, stayed in a hotel you showed, and had a flat tire at the thermal area near Myvatn. What we missed was Lemon. I also had watch Grainy Days. Alas, we found out about that too late!!
Hi Taylor.(I'm not one for commenting on videos but...) I want to thank you for such a fantastic video. It is extremely inspiring for me. Even though I am not interested in film cameras it was a pleasure to watch your journey in Iceland. It was an amazing to see such fantastic shots. As I am laid up after a major back operation that will keep me off my feet for months, it is content like this that will keep up my motivation when I can get back out there with my camera (Z6ii that you talked me into buying). This really is the best content I have viewed on your channel and any other photography channel for that matter. Thank you. AC
You can ask for a hand inspect. If you have 120 rolls, every now and then a new tsa agent will open the wrapper of them, which is a bummer. I think it’s what they learn in training but stop doing it once they realize it’s a potential point of conflict. It doesn’t ruin the film or anything. I just like having it sealed still. For what it’s worth, I haven’t had any issues with any film iso 400 and under, which I haven’t been having them hand check.
Hah that’s amazing! Yah he’s quite a dude. We wanted to invite him over for beers but felt it was overstepping haha. It’s our only Icelandic regret other than getting Lemon smoothies on day 1
Dude I laughed so damn hard after you poured your champagne and tipped the whole glass over. Also, I am sorry you lost your champagne. That sucks. Marshmallows…

Well done. Totally enjoyable video! Can't believe I only came across your channel now.
Thanks for watching!

Any tips for getting your film through airport security without them x-raying everything?

I’ve stayed in that first AirBnB. Did you speak to the owner? Too guy, used to be a sheep farmer, now earns a stack renting out those little cabins!

I just got back! What a great place!!!
Hope you also got the great weather. This summer was so good there
Who want more film trip from Taylor? 😂
Haha we’ll see how this video does! It’s a lot more work than a normal video
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto So good though! Good mix of humour + travel, I like it a lot!
What time of year did you go Iceland?
This was August. I’d recommend not July or August if possible. Just because hotels are really full up and rental car rates are more expensive
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto thanks!
Golf in Iceland + winter= yes and please!
Great film! Great trip! Great photos! I have a Canon AE1 myself. Love that camera!
Thanks Andreea! Love that camera as well!
Where can I get a sweater like that???
Hah there’s a link in the description to the 35/85 shop!
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto 🤦🏻♂️
Hahah all good! I poorly communicated it in the video
Dude I laughed so damn hard after you poured your champagne and tipped the whole glass over. Also, I am sorry you lost your champagne. That sucks.
Marshmallows…
That belongs to Iceland now.
Great photos, sponsor got their money worth! How long did this vid take to edit?! 🤯
Hah thanks! Took a few minutes to edit. Just aimed for each section to be around a minute, so that sped things up for editing
Holy shit I miss the paprika chips, lived off those when I did the ring road a few years ago 🤤
Taylor what do you think of the Nikon F3/T as a film camera? I'm looking to offer 35mm film rolls for weddings in the future.
F3 is great. I used one for a few years!
"And boom goes the dynamite" bahaha
You should make longer videos
5 hour videos are the future
Those giant bags of film might cost more the the M6.
Not anymore haha
Iceland? Never heard of it before.
It’s brand new. Just came out of the earth!
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto I'll pretend to check it out later
I too store my photography skills in a blue duffle bag.
It’s the best way to carry them

No your not the first photographer my dear friends. 1988 was the year.
Yes. We’re for sure the first. 100%. They even told us at the airport

Just nachos being made. That’s why you’re here
