In my oven the pilot doesn't come up until the temp is like 90 deg. How do we clean the jet?
my S8610u doesn't have a 24 volt wire attached to it, instead its attached to the th-w but it has been working till today? I keep getting double led flashes, which via code means its going to try to light pilot again in 5 min, been doing that for a few hours now. i disconnected the ground that goes from pilot to module, and reconnected to see if maybe bad connection. but atm have no clue why pilot wont come on.
Some applications use the TH-W instead of the 24v. Sounds like the module itself may have an internal relay that bad or sticking. The ignitor itself could be grounded as well, but you'd have to pull the burner assembly to verify. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Will a defective s86u be the reason a heater will fire up for about 3 minutes, and then shut of for about 3 minutes and then fire up again and then go off and on about every 3 minutes indefinitely? Jumpered the roll out and high limit, and it still does it. Its a Tempstar heat / cool package unit. Model /serial plackard is gone. Never seen this before.
Definitely have to advise against jumping the roll out and high limit switches (you understand), but if it was just momentarily for testing purposes, I get it. To answer your question, a defective s86 could absolutely be the culprit here. If not that, then the actual flame itself. Make sure that the sensor is fully engulfed in the hottest part of the flame. If you find it's not you could be looking at an airflow issue or a blockage. Good luck and let me know what you find out. Thanks for watching!!
not getting 24v to module
i have 2 lincoln impinger series 1100 conveyer ovens, one shuts off when it gets up to temp and one does not go up to temp. what causes this problems?
Well, if the WHOLE unit shuts down when it gets to temp, its probably a high limit issue. The other one that doesn't get to temp could be several things. Are these units gas or electric? Do the blowers come on? Does it heat at all?
it heats up, when it gets up to temp flames go off and does not fire up again until it cools all the way down. i was able to get the temp up on the other one but now i can't turn it down. they are both gas conveyor ovens with dual solenoids

+Miguel Martinez The neutral wire often goes to a terminal block that connects several neutrals in the unit to one another. Ultimately, it will be in the same circuit as the WHITE wire entering the unit from the plug. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!!

+Miguel Martinez The white wire going to the transformer is a neutral wire, yes. But I don't know that I've ever seen a motor wire directly connected to the neutral that feeds the transformer. Usually there is a contact block with a "cluster" of white wires mounted somewhere in the unit and that is where the motor neutral connects. Usually the main incoming neutral is connected to this as well. Follow the incoming wires from the plug, wherever the white wire goes is where the neutral for the motor goes.
