Dude you’re awesome 👏. I’m an hvac guy , never work in that type of equipment, but the way you explained it adding the schematic makes so much sense. I feel ready now.
    Thanks for the content

Awesome! I was diagnosing with you, I have no experience with kitchen equipment but the moment I learned the burners do turn on and heat but then stop, my first thought was a safety. Thanks for the video!

When I bump into issues like this I like to replace both thermostat and high limit to avoid callbacks, high limit is getting tripped or gone bad from thermostat not regulating temperature and causing high limit to trip, secondly thermostat shouldn’t be calling for so much heat to cause the high limit to trip so thermostat is beginning to fail, but this is just me when I work on hot side equipment.

Thank You, You're right we don't see that often. But from my experience, if the hilimit is going bad, the thermostat may be faulty as well. Too many trips on the hilimit has destroyed it. I have always changed them out as a pair in all hot side equipment that have bad hi limits.

Ya that’s a good point, it’s been about a month since the repair. I guess time will tell

Especially on a fryer I always do the thermostat and the limit together because you're draining the tank and you're getting in there anyway

Yea I have changed those high limits before many times. I like to take stainless zip ties to bond the cap tube to the temp probe, great video bro keep them coming.

At first I thought maybe your thermostat was out of calibration a lot of times guys will just replace the probe thinking it's a bad probe it's good that you traced all that out... I'll just add....some people understand that limit was automatic reset not like the red push button on a pitco fryer that's why it would work and then die and then work again

What kind of camera are you using to film all your work? Are you using like a GoPro or you just using your phone and then going back at night time and editing and putting in all your voiceover?

Ya iPhone and voice over. Half the time either the customers are talking to me or someone is calling me so I can’t talk while filming.
