I never heard this story so called legends.... i use to live there ,our kampung resident im sure has not heard of this .. we live right beside the bukit timah quarry..

Hahahah.... Nice. So if the question comes, which came first, the chicken of the egg, tell them to find out which came first... the scocerer or the chicken.

bukit timah used to be called bukit temak because the place is full of temak tree and still is till now.

The place used to be called bukit temak due to alot of temak trees there.
