  • Pay a visit to the Bukit Timah Railway Station at the Rail Corridor on this walk. Head over to the station building and view the waiting area as well as the signalling room. Then check out the bright yellow rail wagons along the track. We also take a look at the old railway staff living quarters which is now a cafe. There are also two gardens at the community node.

It’s nice that at 1:50, the tracks are infused into the path.

Thank you for showing us this hidden gem. Beautifully and sensitively restored, with imagination and attention to detail (the old maps, the lovely cafe, spice garden).

Your most welcome. 😀 It has been nicely restored and preserves a piece of Singapore’s heritage while giving it new purpose. I’m looking forward to visiting it again, trying the cafe’s food and simply enjoying its ambiance.

It would be nice to buy the old Malayan Railway carriages and convert it to a diner here.
