This is a new style of playing I'm trying to grasp and this tutorial is exactly what I needed. It also helps that you had me laughing through the whole video. I don't give out compliments easily, but you are the funkiest German that I've ever watched play the piano.

Been working on this for a while now,love this lesson...and the turnaround is 😎😎😎 ...I found keeping the 'simple' left hand solid and clean the most difficult part ....more metronome, chicken counting work required 🐤 ...cheers Christian

if I may make a suggestion: theres a video called something like "jingle bells new orleans" by the mad arrenger and the beginning is really groovey, but Im unsure how to build up on that F-G#-A-C funkiness with an impro

Blues can be played in any key. But you have to transpose, chords, blues scale etc. I would start from Blues in G and move everything down a half note. Yep, that's a little work for the unexperienced, but also excellent training...
