- This video tutorial will show you how to connect you PS5 Dualsense Edge to pc. Dualsense Edge is not compatible with pc at the moment. So you're going to have to install DSX app from Steam. It's the only app that work with dualsense edge at the moment.

Can the function buttons work independently and allow functions with non-face buttons? That could triple the number of inputs available. And if you really wanna be nuts, allow the paddles to be extra function buttons so we can quintuple the number of inputs.
You'd have to be a madlad to remember what everything does, but it could be the ultimate Tarkov/ARMA controller, especially with flickstick.
So I’m able to remap my paddles? Before I buy it I just want to make sure I’m reading this correctly.

The rear buttons & function buttons not showing up on the Sense2Key page is very limiting.. can you please add these? Otherwise, you have to daisy chain a bunch of hotkeys to get the mapping to work properly in game.

@@ImParzellibecause xbox is owned by Microsoft so u can use xbox on pc. Ps can only use software on their consoles because of this.

It works for steam too tho I can now play xenoverse 2 with ps5 controller on dualshock 4 emulation so i see the ps4 button layout on the games while wireless and plugged in too to where before on ds4 windows i couldnt do it while plugged in charging
You can still add non steam games by adding them to your steam library and then configure it with steam controller settings

Yes you can. If not you can set up paddles with this and download DS4. DS4 will make Bluetooth connection easier and also allow you to customize co troller
for some reason i dont need any software to use my dualsense edge on mwii but for any other game like fortnite or vanguard the edge doesnt work at all also i did have to assign my paddles using my ps5
Having a issue with it on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. My settings and keybind for controller is set to default and each time i press L1 i use my Tac Grenade and dive at the same time.
It doesnt seem to work for me, wired or wireless. Its just dead in the water 😢

nothing is making my right stick not spam crouch on apex... you cant assign an input on this game. ive tried unbinding on keyboard, but the problem is just with dsx...

Was working fine when I first downloaded it. Next morning.. my left back was set to prone, right one set to jump.. this morning the left one opened the start menu, right one wouldnt work. I reset the apps and tried to unmap them remap.. now the right paddle just shoots the gun, and the left one isn’t working at all…
My controller only works properly when connected via usb.

Why isn't it working for me I've changed in game setting to controller and when I'm playing my right stick acts as a mouse cursor and when I click in my left stick a keyboard comes up

Can anyone explain me, Today I get my Dualsense Edge, when I connect it with cable it works perfectly with Steam, but when I want to play Modern Warfare 2019 on Battle net my Edge doesn't work, but when I use my normal Dualsense it works perfectly with Battle net.

Now the only issue I’m having with it is, it’s making me plug my head set into the controller for my Audio! I have a mix amp that I connect my headset to and can’t use it when I have the controller plugged in via the USB-C to my PC, I don’t get any audio. Unless I plug the headset directly into the controller, which is horrible.
Any advice on how to fix that?

This was a fail for me ... not your guidance but my controller is acting like the mouse and controller .... so when I press buttons well on screen keyboard pops up and all hell breaks loose. I go in game and change it to controller under controller. But then is changes the mouse to controller. I go to change mouse back to mouse and it changes the controller back to mouse .... uninstalled everything plugged back in PS4 controller ... SAME THING HAPPENS .... LOL

Only Problem is when selecting dualshock for my left joystick maken some onscreen keyboard appear but if I use Xbox everything works except the toutchpad

when selected on dualshock emulator go to steam controller settings and edit the config to disable keyboard config. by default it will be on so if u move right thumbstick its the mouse and left is keyboard etc etc
I found a video showing how to add battlenet to steam as a "non steam game"
Then i just hit play on steam and it brings up battlenet and then i launch cod
The controller works, even the back buttons.
However, i kept getting a keyboard popping up. I read some comments about dsx people saying the same issue. I wanted to see if anyone knew a potential fix before I made the "jump" for dsx to use this controller. If there's a fix for the keyboard thing on dsx, maybe it'll work on the steam issue I'm having

@@kevdecimates2158 i disconnected my controller configuration from steam, connected it again and calibrated and played a few games on battlenet without any issues.

Edit: I got it to work but it doesn’t work on games like Rocket League.

It should work with rocket league. Try your in game settings

Seems like there’s some lag between the controller and cod interface but I’m about to try it out in game quick
I did this and my buttons are all over the place ….it’s almost as if DSX rearranged my buttons

Doesn’t work. My controller registers as a mouse still. I can play as a controller but I will not get any aim assist at all & in controller settings when you play says no controller detected. Followed the steps as well. When I plug in my ps5 controller I get aim assist and read my controller
That’s weird I’m getting aim assist. Change your in game to controller. Also make sure you have setup steam controller support.

This is a lie. I configured mine up with DS4 and I am still not able to play COD MW Remastered with the H2 Mod, which isn't on Steam nor on BattleNet. I have to use MnK, as the controller buttons do not register, only thing that registered is the gamepad itself, but it acts as a mouse cursor.

That’s weird, maybe try to uninstall and reinstall.

it actually still does. They just put that feature in the beta branch of the app, so you have to manually update the app to the beta version in order to map the extra buttons

Yup works with every non steam game. Trigger locks are manually adjust no need for software.

New update fixed the issues
When i connect the controller , the mouse and keys are always active so it hops back and forth to both controller , and also after getting the app i cannot equip my back paddles while running fortnite . any way to fix this ? also every time i hit the paddle , it always pull up a random menu on my pc . can you help out ?

Kev i disconnected the controller and then riconnected it after like 2 hours and it wont recognise the controller as a dualsense edge (so i dont have the paddle settings and stuff like that) but as a normal dualsense,have i done something wrong or is the app having issues?
