  • Dinaldalem is an authentic Ilocano dish. There are other variations like igado but this particular recipe is from Abra (or so I'm told) and does not have any veggies in it. My lola used to cook this back in the Philippines when we were growing up.
    Recipe:
Pork Belly 2 pounds - sliced into half inch sized rectangles
Pork Butt 2 pounds - sliced into half inch sized rectangles
Pork Liver 0.5 pounds - sliced into half inch sized rectangles
    Ground Pork 2 pounds
    Minced garlic 1 cup
cooking oil 1/2 cup - I used olive oil but you can use canola or vegetable
Soy sauce 1 cup (for marinating)
Vinegar 1 cup (for marinating) - I used Sukang Ilocos but you can use any
Soy sauce another 1/2 cup to use when cooking
Vinegar another 1/2 cup to use when cooking
    Salt 1/4 cup
    Pepper 1/4 cup (ground black)
Please follow instructions on the video for preparation.

It’s so good and easy to make. Hardest part is slicing up all the meat but if you can buy them pre-sliced, then that males it all easier . I got the sliced pork belly from 99ranch but they only had 1 pound left. 0:09
