This was my favorite song from Cathy Dennis' 1991 album "Move To This". It reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart that fall. The lyrics are kind of depressing, as they talk about a love affair gone south, but I loved it for the fact that it was a mid-tempo soft rock ballad which perfectly complimented the dance-pop that CHR radio seemed to be obsessed with at the time.
A poignant reminder that I was once a youthful 16 at a certain point in the past. Good memories, Cheers everyone!

This song reminds me of a girl I met on Ft. Lauderdale beach. She was the most beautiful girl I ever met in person. Tried to win heart, nothing worked. After a few months I just walked away. Saw her a few years later. She broke my heart into a million pieces seeing her again.
