Wow, I didn't realize how much UGC has changed over the years. I've been trying to build my personal brand and these tips are super helpful! By the way, I've been using boost app social to create content, it's got some cool AI tools to craft captions and stuff. Anyone else using it?
Yep, been using boost app social too! It's like 8 apps in one. Big time saver and it really helps with engagement.
More creators need to know about this! I've had so many ideas for companies and brands that wouldn't really serve my audience but would absolutely serve theirs
Since I've started an influencer account, I've researched UGC this whole week, and it's definitely the direction I want to go in my business. I'm doing this 100%.

This being 2 years ago...I'm wondering what you'd change about the things your talking about in this video and if you feel differently now 2 years later about the industry and has your outlook on this industry changed? Btw, wow, I'm so impressed with how much you were sble to cover in such a short timed video. Really wish ide found your channel a long time ago because just in this video you made 2 years ago, it covers so much and is sooo soo abundant of valuable knowledge experience. Your information, advice and tips, are so helpful. Seriously i have to take notes for your videos, #1. Cus this video is so packed with so much detail, how what who when why where. Your awsome for sharing your experience and knowledge you've gained with your time in the industry. Thank you. I too used to work in modeling. I so so wish ide kept it up even if ide just done it on the side as a hobby type thing and just not full time my whole life all day everyday like I had been doing, or least kept my social media pages open and going and stayed in contact with fans and friends ide made throughout my modeling journey. If I had kept just my MySpace, ide have a massive following today. But I quite and closed all my social media accounts, closed the email ide been using, mobed. You saying your dated, i laughed, totally not at all... I'm talking MySpace dated and Model Mayhem, is where I was...that and of course the modeling platform I worked for which shut down. I quit modeling because of copyright laws which limited how or who I could work for and where. The one company basically tried owning me. Not ok with that at all. Even if a fan or friend took a photo of me in public and posted it publicly, they would be attacked by the company. Super crazy. So the legal stuff is more where I like to cover my bases when it comes to creating and posting videos of myself promoting any business or product. Things can get complicated so easily without you even knowing. Any words in that area? I'm sure you have some experience with that. Now I'm going back to the binge watching your videos,lol and try catching up here. Hoping I didn't make an idiot of myself and find you totally did make an updated video of same topics,lol, which you should if you've not. And I'll be super sad if your not creating still.

interesting take on not hiring based on personality. Whilst I do agree, and having a harmonious working group is important, I am also aware that sometimes really talented people have difficult personalities. and spergy/adhd types also can be brutal if you don't know them well. :)

How does one accept payments as a UGC Creator. I started building a portfolio, but no one has spoken on HOW you accept payments once you’ve landed a deal. Do I sign up for a business PayPal to make invoices ? Like how does accepting payments work ?
The reason for my asking, is due to crackling/distorting soft, whenever the drum/snare, or whatever is playing. TNice tutorials was the case off

based on what she said, you could have success either way, but you're creating more work by having a separate one. in the middle of the video, she talked about creating the type of content you want to be hired for.

How would a regular person with not a large following start doing this?
I created UGC content before I had any following! You can apply for gigs on any freelancing site (i.e. Upwork) and/or create a portfolio by just taking videos/photos of things you like

TH-cam videos need to be shorter than podcasts. Different audience behavior. Was looking for main points in 22 minutes
I personally prefer to watch long TH-cam videos but everyone has a different preference! I'm sure there are plenty of short TH-cam videos out there for you to choose from :)
