Been using mine since yesterday morning. Loving it so far, it's very fast and snappy and the battery seems to be able to last around 2 days which is more than good enough for me.
Not happy with the battery life, but love the watch! Generally recharge it in the evening when watching TV. Want the sleep tracking so to save on overnight battery usage put it in "Goodnight Mode". Looking forward to the BP Sensor update once FDA approval for US 🇺🇸
It looks so much better with the Barton band (I have the same one I used it on my GW). Ritche bands are nice too. I get my Mystic Black 45mm tomorrow and I'm waiting to see how the GW oem band looks on it. Thanks for review Jabber Tech
I've got the Mystic Black 45mm GW3. I get around a day and a half with Always on Display. Mine charges pretty quickly. I put it on the charger tonight for a half hour and went from 42% to 71%.
Hey Chris, I have a question. If you were to turn off the aod, but all other features on, would you be able to charge your watch only when you shower (twice a day), and always have battery
@@AniSauceYT.My daily routine has been to put the watch on the charger for an hour before work and that usually takes it to 100. That's with AoD on and 50% brightness, which is plenty bright, even in the sun. I enable goodnight mode while I sleep.
A very thorough and fair review. I have the first Galaxy Watch 46mm 4G and I'd definitely switch for this one if the battery performance was better. I get up to 4 and sometimes even 5 days on a single battery charge and i wouldn't like to trade that for a day and a half. But then if you want to have it all and you're a heavy user you can't really squeeze that much out of a tiny watch battery, so let's just be realistic. Anyway, it's still better that the much hyped apple watch which doesn't even get you through the whole day and night. The Samsung watches rule IMO.
Tareq Quddus isn’t not have both, Samsung’s gone too sophisticated now with less of the cool techs products. They’re a massive company and could do whatever they wanted, why not have a Bling futuristic tech division that makes things like the Gear S and original Note Edge. This is why tech has become boring of late, all looking to the past and not enough playful sci-fi.
Nice review. Not sure the price diff to the 46mm GW1 is worth it though. They really need to get the Tizen appstore up and running with some proper apps as well - there are way too many poor apps that don't help this watch.
Questions : 1. My old Gear eventually died...how does one install a new battery once after years of use the battery is useless no matter trying to charge? 2. The back of my old Gear watch came off. Would this happen to this one? 3. BT vs LTE...what is the major difference between?
How is that watch holding up? I saw a video where the guy said the the paint on that aluminum rotating bezel is coming off and gets easily scratched. I want to buy that galaxy watch 3.
Hi. Thanks 4 a great video. I had the galaxy watch. It came out about a year or 2 ago. It was mandatory to update the app on the phone every 2-3 weeks or it could not be used. Is that the same issue with the active 2 and the watch 3. That becames annoying after a while.
Hey Jabber Tech, I have been confused for many days as to which watch to buy on a budget of 30,000 and yes lte or bluetooth give me special advice, thank you
Oh yeah, TechnoProz just posted a video on how to set up ECG and BP I did it on my GWA2. Works like a charm. Checked my ECG and it read rhythm as advertised.

I have a flawless black Gear S3 Frontier with a black stainless steel mesh band and black diamond cut bezel ring, totally unique. Samsung offered me $200.00 trade in for it plus a cyber Monday discount bringing the Watch 3 LTE down to just $219.00 plus tax. I decided to give it a try... After setting it all up (keep in mind that I don't use any of the fitness functions, I use my watch for phone calls, text messages, checking emails, getting weather and package alerts and Samsung Pay for super fast checkout) their was absolutely no different in the user interface. All the apps I use daily were the same and looked exactly the same. The Watch 3 felt lighter and cheaper (despite being nearly $500.00 retail). Even though the Watch 3 was brand new my Gear has longer battery life. But the last straw for me was when I stopped into the convenience store that I use daily on the way to work and Samsung Pay would not work. Turns out the stores card readers are old school and don't support NFC payments and the Watch 3 DOES NOT support MST payments. So, on day 2... The Watch 3... went back to Samsung and the Gear S3 Frontier went BACK ON MY WRIST.
Thx for the great review! Do you like this better than the Fenix 6? Like the smarts but fitness Is pretty important to me. Hate having two watches. What's your take?

Not sure if it's just in USA, but I think with Samsung Pay, you can pay from any card terminal, even old school ones. If you can swipe a regular card on it then you can use Samsung Pay. That's a huge benefit. Not sure if that has changed though.
Jabber Tech That’s great! So there is a Messages app for the Watch that allows you to respond? Now if Google would create a TH-cam music app for the Galaxy Watch? If Google would create a Google Messages app for the Samsung Tablet, it would almost feel like iMessage for the Android ecosystem.
Lol,google needs to create a YT music app for wearos first! Many devs aren't making apps for tizen bc they say there isn't enough money to be made and samsung isn't offering incentives to do so 🤷

True but in the Android market Samsung is the best option we have for a true smart watch that also does fitness. Most people that do HIT workouts that I see, are all about that Garmin life anyway. The apple watch is not as nice looking as the galaxy watch, that's for sure .
Jabber Tech I’m an Apple Watch user but hate the Apple phone! Love the watch but I’m going back to Android. My dream smart watch would be integrating garmin with Samsung watch. I might give this watch a try and hopefully it works but I’m a bit skeptical.

Almost $120 increase in price compared to the previous model, yet nothing seems new hardware-wise except for higher 8gb storage (of which half is taken up by the OS!). Battery life is a downgrade, the haptic motor is a joke compared to the active series and Apple watch. In my opinion, it even looks worse in design because of its protrusive esthetics rather than being functional and comfortable on the wrist. If I am paying that amount of money for this stupid watch it better improves on the hardware department and be an actual upgrade, not just a similar watch with stupid features that are yet to be enabled elsewhere other than Korea, e.g. ECG and SpO2, which are gimmicky inaccurate features. Samsung is playing it wrong and headed in the wrong direction with this watch, all of that just to match their prices with Apple, which are both becoming stupidly expensive and consumer-unfriendly.
