    Project for the Web is slightly different than MS Planner. Yet it is much better and certainly worth the money. It is crazy that this is not integrated with To Do, Planner or even with MS Project. Really unbelievable how the guys in Redmond creates new things over and over, and forget to finish the job perfectly.

    I watched a lot of videos on PFTW and this one was perfect. Simple, how to do it, use it, and how to use it in the real world, not the marketing version of “its the best” this was a here is how you use it for the regular person.
    thanks

    Great synopsis of the Microsoft project management offerings. I'm shocked this channel doesn't have more subscribers.

    It seems to me that without a license in planner premium you can not see timeline. But as I understand you you can show the timeline in project for the Webb, if you share the project to them.

      Yeah the new Planner adds more complexity here for sure.

    Great video, I really liked it. But I don't know how to create a group with my collaborators. How do I invite them to Microsoft?

    • @BulbDigital
      @BulbDigital  ปีที่แล้ว

      A Group is created when a Microsoft Team is created. Depending on your organization you might need to get an administrator or use an automated request process.
      Based on your question, it seems like you might be talking about a guest user. If so, some things will be a little different!

      @@BulbDigital I have the admin account but I only work alone, I don't know how yo invite people to work with me. Not as a guess, more as a team

    Hello! I've noticed the teams "Timeline" tab is no longer visible to non licensed users, can you confirm this is now the case?

    • @BulbDigital
      @BulbDigital  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, Jonathan. If you go to this link you will see a good feature breakdown by the different licenses:
      learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/project-online-service-description/project-web-service-description#feature-availability
      As you can see, Timeline view (Gantt Chart) is listed as only available in P1, P3 and P5 licensing.

    how to give someone from the group the access/right to create a task

    • @BulbDigital
      @BulbDigital  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, so if a user is able to see the project but can't create tasks, it is likely because they do not have a license for Project on the web.
