Hey bud I like your channel. I think you’re a great tuner. You should wear a mic so we could hear you better. Sometimes it’s really hard to understand what you are saying
I’ve had my 370z (2019) for around 3 months now and just installed a tomei cat back exhaust. At the moment I have a stock y pipe and everything else is stock, what do you recommend would be the best headers test pipes and y pipe to get for best increased power?
Hi, in my case, i have a 2009 370z Touring model, i went to long headers, from headers, piping Greedy all the way to the tails, my car is getting 326whp, i have a few more bolts on mods, and ecutek tuning
Although Air to air is undoubtedly the way to go. I'm curious has anybody ever try to use a killer chiller with the air to water before. I just want to know how well something like that would work.
I've seen water jets with a small tank that spray water on the radiator of the supercharger to add even more HP...What do you think of that small inexpensive mod? Great video and awesome tune BTW.
supercharger kit vs a turbo kit assuming they make similiar power?Which is better?I want to choose supercharging or turbocharging on my G37, which is very difficult!
What's up, Moncef... I need some help... I have EPS throttle bodies, and I have a misfire in cylinder 3 on cold start-ups after the car warms up. It goes away, and everything is fine, and the check engine light goes off... What are your thoughts 🤔...
AdminTuning, you guys are in Texas? How do I get a hold of you to see about some info on upgrades. I currently have an Uprev Tune and looking to add a Supercharger. What is the best way to contact you? I have a 2013 G37XS Automatic.
That is a massive increase. Seems like that intercooler is a huge restriction and/or the timing was too conservative. What was the boost before and after the changes? What were the intake temperatures on that air to air verses water to air intercooler? Was more overlap required due the long tube headers?
Timing was too conservative based on what? I didn’t tune the car when it was water to air so I don’t know how much boost it made. You can’t really log IAT accurately on a w2a setup either unless you tap the manifold for post HX IATs. As for the VTC overlap, usually LTH works best with more; but going overboard will cause dips in power.
i still dont understand why OEMs and aftermarket companies use air to water kits. its more parts to fail, im assuming its more expensive, and its less efficient. what are the upsides?
This is a great question and I am not sure - on OEM supercharged cars that use a PD or twin screw blower, it is much easier to package, so I get that (GT500s, Hellcat, ZL1/C7Z06), but on the VR30DDTT I am unsure why they stuck with water to air since it is turbocharged.
I didn't tune the W2A setup, it was tuned elsewhere. However, the most a W2A setup will make is 400whp based on the maximum boost pressure it can make on 93 octane on this car.
It depends. If this is for roll racing or drag racing then the brakes don't need upgrades. If this is for the circuit track then maybe it will need it.
I do respect you for the Honest Tune in making a conservative safe setup instead of trying to make Granade Tune others try to do. IMHO, I prefer giving up a few HP for longevity of the motor.
When tuning a boosted car you do need to leave some on the table just in case of unfriendly weather conditions or lower quality fuel. 😎
This is what I want. OEM reliability and power. Not a wound up powerhouse I can't afford to replace when I blow it.

Definitely thinking about getting soho’s new kit
514 hp on pump 91 is really good
If there was a way to cool the water more effectively, would the water to air be better than air to air?
I wonder if the q60 can be converted to air to air intercooler
It has been done before, it doesn’t make a huge peak horsepower gain but it improves consistency in the IATs greatly.
@@admintuning How does that go relative to upgrading the coolant radiators? From what I understand these are pretty small/inefficient from factory.
What mods do you suggest installing first before a tune to make some good gains? I have a g37 sedan.
Test pipes/LTH, single exit catback and 3" Admin intakes FTW
test pipes and a good catback are the bolt ons that you will see the most gains with a tune.

Is there any difference in seat of pants feel of the supercharger kit vs a turbo kit assuming they make similiar power?
Turbo power definitely hits harder in the seat of the pants. Supercharged powerbands are much more linear.
Was the gains just from the A2A kit, or A2A plus long tubes?
Technically yes - I did do another before/after without changing headers, and the power gains were about the same (+130whp).

Curious on the belt slip you mentioned. Is that of concern? Seems like it may slip again unless tightened?
The belt was tightened during tuning and boost was consistent on subsequent runs.
