Good that you quickly figured out it was a scam. I called it the Bracelet Gang where they will start a conversation with you, normally asking you where you came from. They will then offer you a bracelet "for free" but once you wore it, they will pressure you to pay it. You have what it takes to travel solo.
Noah, I want tell you, I am a Grandma who has visited France, and Paris, twice now and my husband and I have discovered we are in love with all things we have discovered about France. I love watching you as you discover and are do Awed by the city of Paris. I would so love to bring all my 12 grandkids to France to show them all the wonders we have discovered and see them so amazed by all these sights we have watched you absolutely thrill to. Love watching you enjoy the wonders of travel thru out Paris!
Quite a thrill, to actually see “ Her” for the first time. I’m surprised you were able to speak. It is a moment! You are right to take in the moment. From the tower itself you cannot see the tower. It is a thrill in itself to be up there but it’s just right to take in the whole experience. Oh, I didn’t want you to leave Effiel Tower area before you saw the tower light up and flash. It heightens the tower experience above and beyond. As your video continues, I realize that you were in Paris having this experience, the exact days that we were, enjoying these same experiences. Connections all the way from Halifax, Canada
Dear oh dear. Yep, line C of the RER is (or was) closed. The best thing would have been to take a city bike (vélib'). It's a fifteen minute bike ride from Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower along the Seine.
If you be back in Paris, I advise you to Visit : Parc de Buttes-Chaumont, and if you didn't did : Jardin du Luxembourg, Les Catacombes (but you have to wake up early is busy place sometimes you have to figure out) and also Les arènes de luteces, le village saint paul and close to that you have les maison medievale is beautiful great video Noki !
Notre Dame is not at all one of the oldest churches in the world. Saint Sophie in Istanbul is five hundred years older. The Temple of Augustus and Livia (In Vienne, France) was built a thousand years before Notre Dame. Then there is the Pantheon in Rome, built in the year 125 (Notre Dame was started in 1163). There are so so many churches built before the year 500, that Notre Dame can by no stretch be called one of the oldest churches. What it has over other gothic structures is its situation at the tip of an island, which gives you incredible views of it. Most other gothic churches are surrounded by other constructions and you only get a view of the façade.
Look at the column at Bastille. It says 1830 on the base. It commemorates the second revolution, the one of 1830 called "les Trois Glorieuses", the three glorious days, when One monarchy replaced another (a bit of a scam really). The king changed and was no longer king of France but king of the French. Dah.
I really enjoy your videos. But it is very dissapointing that you used a curse word. Please keep in mind that minors and young children may also watch your videos. You provide clean and wholesome entertainment. Please refrain from using profanity. Thank you.

I was worried about pickpocketing but only found out about the pressuring t”o pay for it” after that event. Very glad everything was okay!

You owe yourself an entire week in that incredible city...at least!
It was one of the best places I've ever visited, and was also the last place I was in before I came home to Canada. A bittersweet end for sure
@@NokiTravels Oh, you’re back!!! Then, you have a good reason to go back :)
