Back in the days, this was one of the few creepypastas that scared the shit out of me. And after watching this retake, I got the feeling that this vid is one of the few analog horror videos that are able to get me naturally unnerved. Great job, man!
Disregarding the whole RapRat portion of the video (which is really freaking well done btw, love how you made your own assets for the instruction scene) the fact the guy who made the video “SSprime” was just some guy who liked Melee is funny, it also really adds to the feel that this was made like almost 15 or so years ago, well done! (Also the way they played the event match without wavedashing or any of that crazy melee stuff is really funny to me lol)

I think we can make this way better. i think the game (and creepypasta) rap rat is prime analogue horror material, I just don't think there are many re - take out here that use the full potential of the rap rat game / creepypasta. The whole idea of the story is that if you view the tape he'll come for you and kill you. The lore behind it is that the company you see the name of in the video had made the game after a woman had blamed them for there daughter getting struck in the neck by a fabric machine while making the doll amd bleed out and dying which resulted the woman of the daughter that died place a curse on them, the company themselves not taking the threat serious makes the game and the doll ignoring the woman's curse upon them and the soon coming doom of APARAT the demonic entity and soon eventually deaths start happening and soon they end up changing the name to Rap Rat and so then of course these ranged from suicides and deadly strange working accidents resulting in someone to die.
Hello. I think this is related to the Haitian curse storyline, as I believe the words "I AM FEAR" are just barely visible, which would indicate someone committed suicide or more likely was murdered by the demon/rat. I think joblessmonday iirc has a totally different storyline too which is interesting.
