      I disagree with that theory, but I know many people think this way. Why do you think so?

      @klaraanarosa A comprehensive research has been done on that, those who built the Great Zim are pple who practiced circumcision according the the symbolism on the great enclosure & the only tribe who were there who practiced circumcision are the Baremba, do research proper you will find out more on their capabilities.

      @@ndix2053 There have been too many comprehensive research projects on Great Zimbabwe supporting radically different theories to say definitively that anyone knows for sure who built it and why. I don't agree with the Baremba theory and I know many who don't. I also know some who do. Whether Great Zimbabwe was used at some point by the Baremba is a different question. Anyway, part of my PhD project asks the same question so I will be presenting my own 'theory' quite soon...

      @klaraanarosa I strongly believe the Baremba theory because they already had a history of building similar sophisticated structures up north.

      @@ndix2053 I have not been at all convinced by the Baremba theory - sophisticated stone structures can be found in a similar vein all over the world. But the beautiful thing about life is we can have all kinds of people thinking all kinds of things, and we don't have to agree on them. That's why I say - all of these are theories, and everyone has one. What we all agree on is how beautiful and profound and ever-inspiring Great Zimbabwe continues to be...
