Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!
They're great for cosplay, and they're super cheap, so there's no compunction about gutting them to mod into other things. The same company makes a C96 replica, and I plan to use one for a Han Solo cosplay.
Imagine if this thing could be modded to shoot less-than-half darts.
So like a nerf .22lr?
You would have to mod the darts not the gun
@Michael Persin I tried with mine. Nerf darts are too fat, they just get chewed up. You'd need darts that are a few mm slimmer.

I would try to integrate this with a knockout grip.
Add a inline clip with a suppressor and you have a nerf 1911
Finally somebody didn’t call another foam blaster a “Nerf” product
I have several of these in different colors and paint jobs.
I also have the C96 Mauser and a
.45 Bulldog revolver.
Aesthetically pleasing but terrible performance.
It lasted about 10 reloads and the a small bit of plastic snapped off inside the gun (it's a catch to prime the firing pin) and now it's broken.
I will try to fix it tomorrow by tapping in a metal screw and grinding it into shape.
I also tried to mod the magazine to take 6 shots, I believe it's possible to do with a new spring, but you would need to custom make something like a lever bar spring and I need a spot welder for that so it's off the table.
mm. Should hold 7 rounds if they wanted real accuracy. I Disapprove! XD (109 years, came out in 1911 hence the model number)
glad you covered this one, it's cool but of course we should never paint them in Real steel colors unless private properties of course.

I bought 2 of these and ngl they broke within a week but I only wanted to paint them and honestly it was fun and the end result was super cool

There are like 50 of these on amazon made by different Chinese toy makers and there all the same
I got a Toshi Station 1911 which was fun but like many other people a small plastic nub snapped off leaving the blaster useless. Also, the performance was horrible but, it was cheap and fun.
Thats an awesome toy 1911. I compared it to a real Colt 1911 and the dimensions are spot on like they used a real 1911 for the mold. If you paint the gun make sure you leave at least the end of the barrel blue or red.
After I got this gun couple weeks later it broke it was a long grey piece that came out with the bullet you don't have to throw the gun away you can fix it you can throw away the long gray plastic piece take the gun apart and drill the broken piece my dad did it and it works again

I got this from Amazon the only thing that was in plastic was the bullets the gun was just put in the box

you can take it apart and stretch out the spring to be able to shoot farther
Ive got one but it broke after not that long and it didnt shoot very far but it felt really good
I have a pair of these. But I never use them because of the ammo. Sadly Nerf half-darts don't fire out of it, they just get chewed up. I think because Nerf darts are a bit thicker then the intended ammo. Wish I knew of a dart that is a mm or 2 slimmer than Nerf. Or had the modding know how to convert it to fire nerf.

Got it for Christmas and it broke within a week and if you think it was just a just mine I got two and they both broke on the same day

The performance is WAYY worse than trash. This is the pistol with the shittiest range ever... my brother can make one literally 1000times better and he’s not even born yet😂😂 well, one way u can upgrade it (i think haven’t tried it yet) is to get another upgrading airsoft spring. Like that’s how u upgrade airsoft snipers, which might probably work for this crappy pistol. Well, overall, thanks for the review tho. Like u actually rlly bought my morale up cas i was quite pissed when i bought it and test it which pissed me off more, until i found this vid :) ill try to get some specific new spring to upgrade it to at least 180fps

Yes, it does take a clip that goes into the grip of the gun. I don’t really know how many darts it holds
