help me please, l have to decide if l will have one or not. can someone tell me if you can feel that you have a pacemaker like if you feel it in your body. please tell me ( do you feel it a little, or not at all) can you feel where the batterie is. can you feel something. this is my biggest fear. l can’t event stand a needle in my arm for a minute so please help me , l need to know
Having pain after the surgery is very common due to sutures. But it will be life changing. It is a short procedure and you will not feel it as you will be under anesthesia maybe 40 mins to 1 hour . From what I know the feeling will be new as the machine paces your heart but you should not panic and know that pacemaker is doing its job . Just be relax and have faith. You will soon get used to it and get back to regular life
I will never get one myself because it prevents you from having an easy death, like dying in your sleep. You will get shocked constantly, keep you in pain, and the anxiety of dying will be prolonged greatly. It's like being drowned and then last second being recessetated to life only to be drowned again. Process keeps repeating until you want to die. Everyone I knew that had a pacemaker suffered greatly in the last few months of life. Examples are gangrene in hands and feet and amputations. The feeling of drowning is constant, too. This is what I experienced from 5 different people first hand. I will never get one. But the choice is up to you.
