This is not about playing the notes, but understanding how this great tune works. This way, you can make it your own piece of music. Isn't it this what jazz is all about? Great stuff! Highly recommended!

Great inspiration! I think it is worth adding that Pachelbel's Canon, also known as Canon in D, was written somewhere from 1680 to the early 1700s. Great music never gets old, it just goes out of copyright!

I found an arrangement for Canon on Musicnotes that I really like and I'm working my way through. But this video has given me inspiration to play around with that arrangement and put a few things in and take a few things out. Thank you for the great video.

My music teacher said I'm allowed on the piano in breaks, so I'm going to practise every day at school on every break and I don't care how long it takes me to play the whole song, just as long as I get it done.

Love this channel and this piece of music, but it completely lost me. This video is trying to cover too much material at one time.

NOT for beginners, not seeing the notes match up with the sheet.

I've never understood why pianists feel the need to dramatically swing their elbows around or make grandios moves with their arms. Why not just play the hell out of the song and not worry about posturing?

Posture is very important. It helps to refine technique

Half note, quarter note, whole note - all these are for simpleton American hillbillies. The proper terminology is minim, quaver, brieve etc.
