I say this, because the initial trailer and flashbacks in said trailer certainly make Kai and his team to seem like villains, when in reality he seems more like a somewhat distorted version of a anime sports hero, which fits the start of his theme perfectly. Im not even sure its intentional or not, but even if its not, this game has brought about a really interesting character tbh.

I don’t know if it was intentional but so many of these songs feel like they’re emulating the vibes of a lot of videogames and I’m loving it. I feel like whoever dreamt up this OST loves video game music. For instance, I could be convinced X’s theme “Excessive” is a long lost Sonic Adventure track. “A Champion’s Redux”, Estelle’s Theme, sounds like something I’d hear from Persona or Phantasy Star Online. Luna’s theme, “Blue Skies Ahead” sounds like it would be at home in Guilty Gear or BlazBlue.
back in testing phase, I tried out the game with friends for awhile but then mostly forgot about it. But dang now that I check the recent videos, there are absolute fire drops here. I am legitimately impressed and respecting this whole thing and will absolutely try returning to the game soon. This is some crazy stuff here.

Neon Lobby and Character Select were mixed so beautifully and wonderfully I thought they were the same damn song. Same key signature and BPM, but like a build up to a cool as hell climax. Excellent work by Mister Landino.
