Oh my goodness! This tastes just like what my mom used to make as apple sauce. I didn’t realize how much I missed it ( and her) until I made some up and tried it. Took me right back to her kitchen. She’s been gone for ten years now and I had forgotten how good her apple sauce was. Thank you so much for the memories and the taste of home.

We were just looking at our apple trees and thinking... we should probably do something with all these apples... and this is what we were thinking! they look great!
Love your video on canning the apples. I didn't cook my apples as you did in this video and after 2 days they still haven't settled and I wondered if that's normal. Thanks
Nice overview of the canning process and the final products looked lovely and golden. Will they become apple pies or apple crumble _(my preference)_ ? That's a wonderfully abundant and lovely looking garden, which reminds me - I think you mentioned in a podcast that there might be a pumpkin reveal soon? That would be my podcast question for this week - _"Do we still get to see your ____#homesteadpumpkinchallenge____ entry soon?"_ :)
My mom makes a lot of fruit crisps, so that's probably how she'll use the apples. Yes, We'll reveal the pumpkin soon. I think that will be this Saturday. Thank you for the compliment on their garden.
Very nice question what will the slice apples be for? And is there much cinnamon flavor if a person likes cinnamon could you add more?thanks for sharing..
She will probably use these apples for apple crisp. I'm not sure how much cinnamon flavor 1 cinnamon stick would give, but you could certainly add more! Thanks for watching

Thank you for sharing! Maybe Aunt A will check out our channel :)
We canned sliced apples last year. We acually made the apples with the pie seasoning so we canned pie filling. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome! We froze apple pie filling a couple years ago. She makes a lot of fruit crisps, so that's probably how she'll use these apples.
We did make pie filling as well . We just did not get to show it.

Those apples should be very tasty and they can be used several ways being canned that way.
Did I accidentally leave the jar there that you gave me? Did you try any of them yet?

Do you need to add sugar to your recipe?
