Hes my favourite champ lore-wise.When he tanks a shit ton of damage (tanked about 6k) with his E when i heard it myself he says "The blows of gods cannot shatter the world if they strike me instead!" goosebumps.

Its kinda funny how Aatrox calls Pantheon "Lamprey" and Pantheon calls Darkin "Parasite".
Additionally, Lampreys evidently don't harm humans, nor want to.

I think Pantheon has beef with darkin and aspect Nasus is just this ascended dude
Champions with immense powers who use it responsibly more than likely aren't Pantheon's enemy. Ryze, Azir, Nasus, etc are champs who only use their extreme power for good intentions, while Renekton, Xerath, Brand, etc only use it to destroy, conquer, and other bad shit.
@@entropy7705 Nasus and Pantheon would be enemies by their interests. Panth would want to kill Renekton, and even though Reneks mind has broken, Nasus still wouldn't want his brother to die
I’m pretty sure he is fine with Nasus because one of his voices lines he feels sympathy for soraka.
Judging by the voicelines that he has with the ascendents i think he only thinks of Nasus, Azir, Renekton and Rammus (lol) as the last of his problems. I would guess that he is just watching them, just in case that they do bad.
Pantheon's story would make an amazing story, I would just love to see him encourage armies to fight against deformed forms of ascended. Just gives me chills
all ascended are either dead, darinized or in hiding (not counting azir, xerath and renekton - these idiots got no idea what is up and act too bold for their own good, as presented above). pantheon can fight aspects and celestials as much as he wants but there are hardly any ascended left to fight anymore
@@gilsai4990 we can actually get new Ascended now though, Riot perfectly knows what might happen in the future which led them to make Azir and the resurrection of Shurima.
Although there are hardly 10 Ascendeds left (including Darkin), there's always the possibility of getting new ones thanks to the Sun Disc being restored. Heck, we might even get plot twists such as Azir's and some old prominent Ascendeds only mentioned in stories might return, such as Setaka.

I REALLY love how they translated the fact Pantheon wanted to be a Baker into him wanting to lead a modest farmers' life. The Icing on the cake is that it is a wheat farm, which is used to make bread. Amazing job Rito. 10/10. New Lore is amazing!

I found a misstake in your story. At 4:28 you said "So a couple of month later. When he finally recovered.".
The lore tells the following lines:
- Though it was months before he could lift a spear, Atreus was determined to end this scourge himself, and eventually set out with the Aspect’s dulled weapons in hand. -
I think that means he was still in a bad shape when he left the farm.

True, the story says that he was still heavily woundered when he faced Aatrox again
It'ss not the only mistake. The woman's name is Asose not Asos. Panth older short story hasn't changed, it still describes Pant as a warrior with an armor on his chest and a crimson cloak (he no longer has an armor on his chest and his cloak is blue). At the end of the new short story the star that shines the most wasnt Atreus's star, it was a new one named after Asose (or perhaps another of the stars of the constellation was, by coincidence, named Asose), like telling us that Atreus is, without knowing, rebuilding the constellation of the warrior with the souls or will of mortals (who knows, he might be growing more powerfull or bringing back to life the real Aspect).

He also made a mistake with the visual representation when pantheon severed Aatrox's sword arm. He showed his right, armored arm being severed. Aatrox wields his greatsword with his left, weaker arm.

@@lastor9148 He is. Pamtheon's interactions make it clear that Pantheon fought and killed many of the Aatrox hosts. Aatrox is luck to be trapped in his sword forever, or else he would already been gone (jk, i know death is what Aatrox wants the most, but he being trapped kept him safe from death many times).
5:38 so that's how sterak's gage came to be, like how they tie in ingame items to the lore :)

Thinking back, wouldn't it be a nice touch if as Pantheons story progressed such as in his second short story when the fire in him burned again and the star of Atreus blazed new stars of the new Pantheon constellation formed, the first being named after Asos and then as he grows in power and as a person/warrior new stars form until the Pantheon constellation is completed.
by far best story so far the sacrifice of the warrior girl almost had my in tears 10/10
I remember in an old Story, it said that Atreus and Leona are childhood friends. Is it still true or Canon? Because if yes, they could definetley have Pantheon in the center between the Story of Leona and Diana.

The entirety of the Aspect of War constellation disappeared *except* Atreus, the star he was named after. He doesn't have a constellation symbolizing his power, only a single star.

He does. When he got his determination to fight Aatrox back, the constellation ignited again. So yeah, Atreus, the man, is the new Aspect of War, in a certain way, but HE IS the Aspect, not someone is lending the power to him.

Dude. I came here to get some backstory an Aatrox before I watched his lore video. This did not have to go THAT HARD!!! I literally shed a tear when Asos died, and I was hyperventelating due to overwhelming coolness when they all shouted ASOS and fought back against Xerath! WOW!!

A darkin sealed in an armor who can be put on by others like yuumi mechanic would be great as a supp darkin concept.
Technically the next Darkin should be a Mid Laner or a Support. Riot already confirmed there are 5 darkins and if you notice Aatrox goes mostly top, Rhaast goes mostly jungle and Varus goes mostly bot adc.
The last one is Varus’s sister tho

he became the new aspect of war. it said his star came back into the sky. meaning Atreus(pantheon) can pick a new aspect if needed. and i am assuming when the old pantheon died aurilion sol was free for a short time but was trapped again once the pantheon was reborn. also atreus wouldnt let him just be free because he it also a god and has too much power

it is theorized that Valeeva (one of the ascended that escaped the moonfall spell in Twilight of the Gods story) is the darkin supp and she was described pale skinned with venomous spines rattling. To me this sounds like a lionfish or a drake maybe. IF Valeeva proves to be Varus's sister by Riot. Im more curious about the midlaner darkin though:D
