Yep that's a big appeal for collecting. Nothing more nostalgic than hearing a tractor from your youth chugging along. I haven't had my tractors for very long (6years) and every time I watch a video with.a Farmall m the sound is very similar not the same. Even down to the way the metal flapper cackles on startup/shutdown super interesting hobby for sure
Used to be hearing an old tractor chugging along was a daily occurrence for me, with me in the driver seat occasionally. You don't know what you'll miss until it's gone.
Squatch-- I never cease to be amazed at your knowledge of all the accessories as well as the tractors. Marvelous video! Just be sure you aren't overdoing it.
Oh man, Squatch has gone all Hollywood on us leaving us with a cliff-hanger like that. Will the rock win? Will the skill, will, and ingenuity of the Plow Day team (with help from a bigger excavator) overcome the massive rock? Stay tuned for the next episode!!!!!!
Man I wish I coulda been there. It’s a long haul for me to bring a tractor tho plus has the kiddo over the weekend. I see Luke got the M going in time. Thanks for the video Toby and can’t wait for the next one!
@@squatch253 technically it was a chain gang , surprised you didn’t breakout the sledgehammers and supervise them boys getting their John Henry on!! 😝 🤷♂️ it’s Gonna have to be busted up anyways to fit into the rock crusher 😝🤣 ✌️🤙
Brilliant video and looks like a brilliant day of fun😊 That boulder just proves the power of a D4 and look forward to part 2. That D4 would show up alot of modern tractors today. I really loved the difference in engine sounds and really loved the sound of the ford. Please take care of yourself and keep these amazing videos coming 👍🚜🚜🚜🚜👍
They are all great but I love the sound of that JD horizontal 2 cylinder engine. We have a plow day where I live and been to it 4-5 times, the JD you think is going to die and it just grunts harder and pulls.
Interesting to see that all the implements just relied on being pulled behind a tractor, no PTO shafts, no hydraulics...I don't want to imagine how many thoughts and trial and error sessions went into the design of the implements before they woul work like they should... Thx for showing! 👍👍👍
I have never in my life plowed thru standing water. With our clay dirt if you work it wet you just make bricks and it takes years of freezing and thawing to get the clumps back out of it.
It's good seeing you out and about. I can't begin to imagine what kind of shop withdrawal you have going on. If only you had about 30 lbs of tannerite. That big honking rock would be pea gravel.
I'm sorry, I did not realise you had not been well. The films just stopped coming to my "list". That D4 is fantastic getting through that wet patch. I would not have got through that with my Fordson with spade lugs.
Great video. Big rock. I sure like plowing. That ground looks great to play with. I have the same Ferguson plow. The ford sounded great. They all sounded great. Have a great day.
Dang looks fun great old equipment make me a little jealous not being there keep more along great time I do miss my old days runnig those Tractors never got to plow..... :)
Awesome music choice , day 2 should be fun. As myself living on very rocky ground. Huge boulders like these are a annoyance. However they make for great platforms for static displays.
Imagine if the farmers 70 years ago would've known that we today are using the same tractors and not only plowing for fun with them but also transmit it to the whole world for looking at it, also for fun. :)
As long as there is a lowboy involved might as well bring your rd6 and just make sure there is enough muscle. It is funny how different that soil plows. Here in southern Minnesota that would have been so slabby and just a mess as wet as it was
I like how each tractor has its own distinct sound when pulling under load.

Overdo fun? I didn't think that was possible.

I could watch vintage tractors at work, all day long!

Same Squatch channel same Squatch time 😆
I didn't realize Rick was going to plant rice ?
I love how you guys had literal standing water on the field and said meh it'll go. That was fun to watch

Great video Toby! Lots of nice old Iron putting in some work. That's what you call bouder diggin. Cheers

Big plow day this year!
Love the plow day videos. That 756 is a good sounding tractor!
I have seen Freddy Kilowatt on anything in years. That 's some good looking sandy upland.
Great shots of the sod rolling over and the trailing wheel serving as a "dirt keel".
Man it's so nice to hear a Cat that isn't straight piped, for once.
Love the old iron still getting it done .
A few more rocks like that and you can build your own henge .
Great effort by all - that's one big rock!
...Brought re-enforcements......Nice! CAT rules out...Every time.
Funny how a big rock just ends up in the field with such beautiful dirt.
When the big digger turned up I thought it was going to be Letsdig 18!
That big boulder could be used as a landscape sign rock somewhere
Always a favorite plow days
I love that D4!

Always nice to see classic metal working. Thanks!
Looked like fun time!! Thanks for sharing this 👍🏼👍🏼
A good days ploughing there. I thought the water-feature would be a bit of a problem. However, that rock might just be one for the Dinney Mite Boys.
It’s great to see all the different tractors in action. Thanks for the great video.
The big rock is probably a glacial erratic with some topography. One might be able to figure out which mountain range it came from deep in a glacier.
Plows working great. Perfect rollover.
Good job Squatch!
I love how things escalate😆
I have never in my life plowed thru standing water. With our clay dirt if you work it wet you just make bricks and it takes years of freezing and thawing to get the clumps back out of it.
Good lord! Is that Reddy Kilowatt on that there shirt?!? Very old school cool! Right on!
Good stuff, looking forward to part 2.
It's good seeing you out and about. I can't begin to imagine what kind of shop withdrawal you have going on.

Engines always sound best when they're working!
Enjoy the video Man and want to see the other parts 2 ok .
Great video thanks for sharing wow he didn’t slip a track going through the water mud no tractor with wheels would have done that
What a blast. Wish I could've been there!
That looks so much fun.
You guys are going to have to get Bob to do a video talking about the D4.
Plowing deep and covering well. Those guys are good.
Have fun braking the clods. We did not plow when it was to wet!
Looks like a lot of fun!
Excellent video
Bob’s D4 is awesome
Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed watching that! You don't see too much plowing out my way.
Brilliant video right through some great action 💪💪👍 then what happens we get left hanging to be continued 🙄😳😕😕😂
I love the smell of fresh turned dirt !!!
Looks like you guys are having way too much fun.
No electronics… no GPS… just dinosaur goo, hunks of metal and operator skill.
Nice work.
Amazing rollover.
Great video. Nothing better than playing in the mud with your buddies ( second childhood). 👍
I forgot to add... just the toys got bigger.😉
I'm sorry, I did not realise you had not been well. The films just stopped coming to my "list". That D4 is fantastic getting through that wet patch. I would not have got through that with my Fordson with spade lugs.
i love the plow day videos,
The John Deere gets the job done with seemingly little effort with the giant pistons and flywheel.
We rebuilt a friends 860 in small engines in high school. It was a sweet tractor
Great video. Big rock. I sure like plowing. That ground looks great to play with. I have the same Ferguson plow. The ford sounded great. They all sounded great. Have a great day.
Careful Wile E. Coyote might be under that rock!
That looks like so much fun brother, thanks , I needed that today especially, thank you kind Sir☺️👌👍🏽🇦🇺
Great day out, I was really surprised how dry that was underneath once it was turned.
Dang looks fun great old equipment make me a little jealous not being there keep more along great time I do miss my old days runnig those Tractors never got to plow..... :)
Someday you might want to invite Lord Muck for a 'plowing with old machines'.
As mob handed as you were, that many tractors (and ploughs) should make 30 acres easy
(shout out to the little Ford Ferguson doing some fine work!)
That's some nice soil
Man that's going to have a tough bottom once it dries out.
I'm a JD guy but nothing beats International Harvester for tillage equipment. Their plows and discs are by and far the best.
I have an old David Bradley 3-16 that does really good and gets a bunch of trash talking since it's not some big name brand.
Imagine all the work to do that with horses
Hey Squatch,,nothing like plowing in the mud. Been there, done that. Nicely done!!
Probably pulls better than when it's dried as hard as concrete.
@@kylekenan2321 True dat
😂😂😂 a little over kill on that rock lol I want to see what to cats could of done by pulling it out the hole
Awesome music choice , day 2 should be fun. As myself living on very rocky ground. Huge boulders like these are a annoyance. However they make for great platforms for static displays.
Toby, I told Rick to drag that rock over to your rock crusher and label it "Contents, 1 - ACME Driveway Kit" LOL
I love plow day!!
Imagine if the farmers 70 years ago would've known that we today are using the same tractors and not only plowing for fun with them but also transmit it to the whole world for looking at it, also for fun. :)
Need a go fund me for a cylinder so the transport disc can be transported.. 😂
Love plow days!!!
Fun Fun 🤩
Mr bork sent a pic of holding that small rock. Haha
You guys get much more rain you're going to have to get Maritime licenses, for your boats 6:11 😅

Hey…. Wearing a Ready Kilowatt sweatshirt… 👍
Obstacles means more fun!!
There is something earthy about the sound of a reciprocating engine under load. Especially a diesel.
Redi -Kilowatt on your sweatshirt.
Lol nice job
😀🤗 plow day! About time 😆 to bad preparation H is in the shop has to wait for spring to exercise 😢 😝😂 ✌️🤙
Just think if the narrow rd6 was there pulling a plow and you found that rock it would of been and epic pull
It's a nail bitter.
Seeing all these different tractor just made me wonder is one of them more fuel efficient 4cly gas vs diesel vs the 2cly JD
What is he going to be producing in the wet spot, rice?
Those glasses are growing on you. Better add them to the regular Sasquatch persona I reckon.
Het squatch253, I have always wondered why you plow these fields? Can you explain?
The muck didn't slow you guys down.
Mr. Squatch, how deep is the topsoil in your part of the world?
