This film about the Rhine is unique because of its focus on the Fauna and Flora that exists alongside the stream. Beavers and Seals, Capricorns and Lizards, Wild boar and White-throated dipper are among the animal stars of this film. Even though man has settled next to the river and the stream has been used as means of transportation for thousands of years, its banks still host a stunning variety of wildlife habitats. Alluvial forests, roaring waterfalls, steep canyons and sunny slopes flank the river along its some 1230km. The variety of habitats is the reason for the large biodiversity along the stream. The film follows the winding path upstream Starting at its delta in the Netherlands it runs through six countries until its place of origin in the Swiss Alps. Rhine river is located in Europe. It is a majore transport route in this continent. There is a diversity of wild life that thrives in this river. Amazing documentary. This type of documentary is a must watch for me.
Birds have got to be the silliest animals alive, thank God for TH-cam and nature videos, or I'd have never known. My favorite is the horned chicken or whatever, he has two feathers that he pushes up and they look like bunny ears to me, but after they mate, the female beats feet and the male just does this cute foot dance, not even realizing she's done long gone, lol!
That's so true, birds are silly and get into all sorts of mischief. My two favourite bird rascals are the black crows and ravens. Seen them on a nature doccie and absolutely fell in love with their funny antics.
absolutely beautiful and with and nice narrative voice i thank you so much im retired so when i get a break from my house work and it lunch time i gather up my food and some tea and turn the computer on to relax ...... i watch your free documentary nature really cheers me up..............on to the next one ..................
Definitely a legend. Cause he sure made it look more beautiful than in real life 🤣 go there and you rarely or never see half of these animals.. Especially the Netherlands part
Extremely interesting and so watchable to the end. One unless otherwise knowledgeable wouldn't know of the many wonders of Europe. I enjoyed this video untill the end and was sorry to see it end. Thank you for sharing such an educational content.
I also agree with the others-- great shots of all sorts of animals-- beautiful photography too. Who knew this Rhein? Not me! Good to know it's still here. Not one mention of the Lorelei! Wonderful intro to the nature of Europe, which we thought was extinct!
The mention of ancient lava flows peaks my interest as to possibilities of potential gold deposits that found it's way into sections of the riverbed. Nice camera work.
How could anyone ever leave Europe I don't understand they have the most beautiful wilderness in the world why would you want to leave you could never experience all there is in the seven or eight countries in a lifetime I'm proud to be an American an Irish American but I would give anything to experience the Wilderness in Europe especially the Rhine River from top to bottom it's just gorgeous I also want to become a citizen of Liechtenstein so I can help raise their population
Tank you so much I'm Like 👍nature I love wild animals and nature tank you for avery thing i love 💘your video 📹 you are professional scientists tank you again 💜🙏
