Sharing my experience about this product here (i specifically searched for T450 to see what people think about it, and that landed me here- so i want to share)... I have got one of these about 3 years ago , refurbished for only about $300 (if i recall correctly from Staples). It is an awesome laptop and satisfies all my needs. Surfing, emails, streaming, python programming and even connecting to work from remote are all doable on this beast. My system is T450, intel core i5, 8 GB DRAM (upgradable), 256 GB SSD (I split it in half and installed Linux on half of this) - the battery life on both batteries is still good. So , for light to moderate daily use, this should be ok. I will probably keep this as long as it does not give me trouble.

just bought this one yesterday but I see Fall Guys not reaching the 30 FPS on low graphics, also tried Resident Evil VII Biohazard teaser and it didn't look very playable. I know it doesn't have a nice graphics card or a lot of ram, but to me the chip sounds top tier for the price, any advice?
My only advice would be to lower the resolution in games as well as lowering the settings. The Intel HD 4400 integrated GPU is not going to do well with modern games that require at least 2GB VRAM in order to perform well. I wouldn't think RE Biohazard would be playable. Fall Guys, try lowering the resolution (make the display Windowed and put it down to something like 720p). Budget gaming is possible on this, but you really need to manage your expectation. Let me know how it goes!
hello i got this refurbished laptop recently. i noticed the battery capacities are really low (around 70%). and the laptop overheats even if i’m just browsing. the specs are 16gb ram, core i5, 512gb ssd. should i refund or should i buy new batteries+ clean out fan?
Clean the fan and see about putting new thermal paste on the CPU. As for the battery, sometimes you get what you get with a used laptop. Used batteries will be in various states of efficacy.
The last T470's I sold were priced at $260 - $280 CAD. It was all dependent on how much the unit initially cost to purchase. Could be more or less depending on that.
That T440 is pretty much the exact same laptop as this T450, with slight differences. It would be good for the same type of gaming in this video. Steam overall is a little more user friendly. Make sure that system requirements line up with what your system can handle and try some out.
I would imagine it could, so long as the software you are using aligns with the T450 hardware. I think something on the lighter end, but I don't have any experience with DAW. I've only recorded and mixed on a BOSS digital 8 track console.
Hi, I wanted to know if this notebook with an i5 5300U processor would run games with more fps like: league of legends, valorant, fortnaite and gta5 does this notebook run these games at 60 fps?
