Nice one Dave. I have two of these of the JJRc c8806 brand. the blue and the green version. i have made a speed run set up. With oil shock's, 2845 5900kv motor and a 21t pinion with120amp esc. and my other one my street basher. has the same 120amp esc 2847 5600kv motor fitted with the stock 18t pinion. I will have a running video of them soon. It's still. a bit to hot out here at the moment..lol. a you said in your video a Awesome 1/16 scale RC car which can hold a straight line...All the Best my friend. And a Big Thumbs Up as always.👍💪🦾💯

@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thanks' Dave. The SG 1603 pinecone models. The oil filled shock's for that model will fit. you may have to shorten the rear springs to lower the rear a bit. But i used the front stock spring's from my car and fitted them to the new rear oil shocks. and it seems to work well. Thanks' again my Friend. And all the best to you and your Family. 👍

It's a totally different beast now! It's more than worth the upgrade! BTW, the original shocks were 50mm, but I got the 55mm so the body won't touch the back anymore. You know? It was touching the wheels, I guess. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Nice review mate, I got the SG216Max which is the same as this just different shell bodies. I'm new into the hobby so i'm a bit nervous in modding, and parts take time to arrive, so I'm gonna try having a 3s 25c Lipo with it first. Noticed that the motor and esc are really hot even with the stock battery. Do you think it could withstand the 3S 25c lipo with like 30mins-1hr of play per day? I ordered a motor heatsink with fan but it would take a while to arrive. I'm really having fun even with just the stock 2s li-on battery and don't really like it ending real quick frying the components with the 3S stronger voltage battery hahaha. Thanks a lot mate, you got a new subscriber.
On 3s for extended periods will possibly over cook that motor so I do not really recommend it, with a heating and fan yes it should keep tempts down but as you know already that motor gets super hot like it did in this video and I was only running the standard 2s while street bashing. All you have to do is raise the body post if your running stock and rubbing the tires. I also put 55mm oil shocks, and a gyro on mine, 100% better

ZLL aren't very imaginative with their names, Their cars and drones both have very similar names

Nah had none on hand from other cars cause when i change shocks to oil filled i ditch em with the friction shocks in the bin 😆
