  • Today we are working on our 67 ford mustang coupe to fastback conversion. We are pulling the motor and sandblasting it. We wanted to give you tips and tricks along the way!

    The term you are looking for is “socket head cap screw”. Also, digging the Monty Python reference!

    I would blast prior the build up so you don't have blast material between the quarter and wheelwell. You can't remove the debris entirely !!! My 2 eurocent.

      Agreed, we do that now. Since we have shop space and such we have streamlined the process a bit haha

    ? About what is there lead time for y'all to get the kit for a 1968 mustang fastback. Today is 11/4/2022

      We normally say 4-6 months to get all of the metal in. Sometimes it's faster.

    What kind of pressure is that compressor? I’ve being watch mixed reviews on that particular habit fright sand blaster I really want to purchase one but I will only be working in my garage not much customers situation but I want the most effective without breaking the bank. Any advice???

      We did do a whole car with the HF one and it was decent. I think if you are doing smaller parts, thats the way to go. If you are doing a whole car, spend a bit more. Or have someone else do it haha Thats what I do now.

    How Much do you think you will be selling these Mustangs for?

      They will start around 25k . That will be with a Ford 8.8 in back and front disc brake conversion from Wilwood. New wire harness, coated and primed
