Ah, yes, that was the idea. The place is mental, to be honest. I think I spent too much time there. But the Atlas Mountains is impressive. Absolutely blew me away.
@@postcardsfromdan I would highly recommend the guide I used. Mustapha, all links in description. Such a professional guy and has a strong passion for the outdoors. And the fella knows his way about, and very competitive price! He's a Berber local to the area. Basically say you want to do something like "Hamish's trek" but you tailor it for your own strength and weakness. The days in Marrakech either side of the trek really are needed, but as long as you're in good mental shape, and physically OK to walk a load of miles up steep ascents and in a bit of rain or cold weather, you'll be grand.
@@footslogger_ni OK, great. Thanks for the info. Noted all of that. Had something similar in Sri Lanka - always good to get a word of mouth recommendation.
Class, throughly enjoyed this and looking forward to the hike now. Captured that perfectly the only thing missing was the smell of the food and I would have been beside on the journey. Looks a crazy place and them narrow streets are crazy, how anyone finds there way around there is mental.
I have always wanted to visit Marrakech. I felt like I was there while watching this. Thanks for sharing.

@@footslogger_ni It certain worked on me. I reckon I have to put it down as my next trip now. I’ve been waiting for about 30 years…

I'm arriving a week on Monday 🇲🇦
Brilliant. Go and do an Atlas Mountain tour. If you can't get a full trek, step into the foothills of the place.

Glad you enjoyed it. I did too. It's a mad house that city.
