I just purchased this scent this week and I love it. Reminds me of a mixture between milliesime imperial, green irish tweed and bleu chanel. Performance is solid on my skin and last all day.
@@bennetthollister58 Mine is royal oud, it's unbeatable and out of the 40 or so fragrances I own + many others I have smelled, the magic of this just can't be beat to me. Also it is quite strong for a creed fragrance too.

It is a pleasure listening to your description, knowledge, and personal experience with these fragrances, Aaron. I've been broadening my appreciation for scent profiles, coming from a ten year YSL L'homme default to now leaning more niche, and I discovered a fragrance by Anka Kus Parfum - A Moment in Manhattan. I've had a few different bottles to feel out on my skin and massage the intellect, and I think I have a handle on it, but I'd love to hear your take. All the best, man. Thanks for your work!
I have ozone on in this lovely warm weather and loving it. Also tried goldfield and banks bohemian lime as a test on my arm today and nice but doesn’t last very long at all! Ozone still powering all day👍 Blue fever yesterday. SPN tomorrow 😂
@@HeavenRoadV I got a bottle 2 months ago. It's definitely not discontinued. However, it's extremely hard to find it since Dior doesn't distribute it to US and Canada, so your only bet is to find an individual seller or straight up going to France and buying, which we did.
SO far all my creeds are doing about 5-6 hours. All new batches. Royal Oud, Original Vetiver, Original Santal, Aventus, Green Irish Tweed, Viking, Silver Mountian Water. Im happy with the performance. Maybe its my skin.
No way! I just bought this from Harrods & it arrived earlier today. It really is beautiful & your right, it is so light & airy & creates a very elegant aura around you. It's so.airy that it feels like you're just breathing in oxygen. You could spray tons of it on & it would be impossible to choke you or any one else out. I also agree that it is very reminiscent of Francis Kurkdjian's work.
wow! Small world, been considering this in the last few days as I'm really trying to find a nice citrusy summer fragrance.. Having the same issue tho with the siage and projection being not great, as well as something "lacking" on my skin..
I currently have a 100ml bottle. It lasts about 8 hours on my skin. Ever since Kering took over, perhaps I could be wrong, but I think creed fragrances seem to last a little longer. But the price is disgusting, agreed.
This is very good stuff. Bought it at an extreme discount at a NYC boutique which was one of the first focused on Bond 9 fragrances, hence their low price for second-tier Creeds. Extremely good as a body wash (which I got free, I ain't payin' Creed prices!)--like a very high-priced shower gel. Not at all flowery/vanilla, per my nose. Salty/ocean/citrus to me. For whatever it's worth, it's favored by Sean Penn (which I totally get) and Donatello Versace (which I totally don't). : - )
I found an online shop for perfumers and I checked prices for Hedione. That shop sells Hedione for 0.15 USD per gram, while their High Cis Hedione goes for 1 USD per gram. Well, that really a huge difference 😅 0

@@adenwellsmith6908 Virgin Island Water, Royal Water, Light Blue Intense, Dior Homme Cologne etc.. Basically very airy fragrances since the humidity already makes everything stick, so a super strong cologne may not always complement you well with that stickyness
Love this creed fragrance the bottles I have are older and are more long lasting than the creed you get today . I totally agree about the price Aaron it’s way too high .
Hey Aaron do you have any tips where to put my fragrances during summer cz it gets hot here like 35 degree celsius i heard bathroom is not good cz of the humidity. Thanks!
Interesting thoughts on the "office" suitability. In one sense, yes, you absolutely do not want massive projection (so that is good); otoh, you do want longevity (8 to 10 hour workday, after all). Imo the ideal office scent would be something with that "all-day" longevity, but also something with basically no projection - just a skin scent. Something for *yourself*, not for the people stuck sitting around you.
Always loved Creed, my first niche fragrance (and 4th ever perfume in 35 years) was Aventus so I have it deep in my heart, 2016, spectacular, much better formulation, lasting, strong but it is hard to justify ever buying a Creed bottle again if it is new, if you get a discounted bottle for a perfume you like great. Erolfa smells quite nice but it is not outstanding.
Erolfa smells amazing, but i would never reach for this kind of fragrance. It is overtly mature aquatic salty fragrance, very subtle, close to the skin
Erolfa has that screechy staticky base other greeds use like GIT (which I do NOT like) But the dry down on this is really good! Unfortunately it’s not worth it to suffer for 3-4 hours and smell that synthetic staticky screechiness to enjoy 1-2 hour dry down at the end of the journey.
I don’t think this fragrance would be as well received if it sold at 1/3rd of the price. That is just the psychology of marketing. Thus I think Creed has priced it appropriately. Creed fans are looking for more than the odor or performance, they want the prestige and exclusivity thus necessitating the high price.
It's always so sad/funny to me when people associate Creed with 'light/airy/not long lasting' This is one of the main issues Creed enthusiasts have had with the obvious destruction of their fragrances. Once upon a time it was not like this at all, back in the days of their 120ml bottles but especially pre 2008/2009. If you got a pre 2008 vintage Millesime Imperial (their quintessential summer fragrance) for example, that stuff lasted for a solid 2 days on clothes and it was not airy and light. It was thick, juicy, full and had monstrous projection. Same with old Aventus, same with old GIT. Back then you'd pay less, for more juice, and that juice was infinitely stronger and better smelling. Whether it's reformulations due to IFRA regulations, or cost cutting, or whatever the reason, modern (post 2017) Creed's are neutered watered down shadows of their former selves and it's very sad for fans of the house.
That stone-faced "hooray" gave me a good chuckle. Aaron is a Brit through and through, hahaha. About Erolfa... It's a strong MEH from me, nothing special about it at all. Just a generic clean scent.
Very well said! I'm obsessed with Blue Fever now. Thanks for that release! Keep em coming. Fan for life
