@@Tilde1337 biggest things are new enemies and removed railing strats (used to be a thing where you could stand on a railing and most of the enemies couldnt hurt you, so you could just whack them from safety), but there's also smaller less noticable changes like new items and a change to certain enemy AI (items are less noticable because a chunk of them are for multiplayer, such as the signal transmitter)
v40 fall damage doesn't kill you, "rail cheese", Titan has average 45 loot, v45 nutcracker, whoopie, masks, titan nerf, patch rail cheese, fall damage kills you, presents added v49 no ladder glitch, less presents. @@Tilde1337 this is a rough overview of the patches
1:15:37 For anyone wondering about this, no, Masks can't revive on death. However, they can *[ALLEGEDLY]* "feign" death after one or two shovel hits, where they'll play the death animation, but then get back up afterwards and continue attacking. Just keep track of ur shovel hits, they'll alway take exactly 4 hits to go down.

Once I was playing lethal company with a couple of my friends, and a mimic emoted at me after we all inverse teleported inside. Needless to say I immediately died to him. Had no idea it was a mimic.

I feel like bees could become their own subcategory for the leaderboards. If people want to reset for them on early days for the 10 quota, or just reset for them the entirety of 1 and 3 quota runs, let them do it, but put it in its own group.

The issue with killing enemies is that they respawn. Basically there's a cap of how many ennemies can exist at the same time in the facility, and this cap gets higher for harder moons. So if you're already at that cap, killing an easy ennemy like a snare flea or a loot bug will free slots for possibly harder enemies, like a coil head. So in the end, killing enemies isnt that worth it. It makes you take risks, it costs an inventory slot (and weight) for the shovel, and while that can work in a group, in a solo run that's a huge cost for very little reward.

Killing the nutcracker gives you an item that trivializes killing ANYTHING with a healthbar, so its always worth it to kill them Killing a lootbug gives you more money, so if you kill it when youre wrapping up you can make off with the money and (hopefully) not deal with the consequences
@SupraShade Weeeell, for the nutcracker it gives you a shotgun that trivializes killing 4 enemies with a healthbar, and this is if you decide to carry the shotgun and the ammo, sacrificing 3 inventory slots, so in the more likely solo case that you're using only the shotgun as a weapon, you'll most likely only kill 2 guys before the shotgun becomes just another piece of loot. Now take into account that most of the annoying enemies in solo are indestructible or have too much health to be one shot by it (im thinking coil head, jester, ghost girl, giant, dogs) and the shotgun really doesnt trivializes much in solo. It might kill a thumper, but you can also not approach the thumper without expanding 25% of your inventory. Also lets not forget that nutcrackers CAN kill you in a fight. Even if you can get very good against them, you're never truly safe from a weird movement from them that will deal the instakill contact damage. As for the lootbugs, it'll give you money IF you find their den, IF there's actual loot and not 3 keys in the den and IF they arent too many of them so that its still winnable (I once attacked a pack of three, they all hit back at the same time, killing me instantly). And I mean, I carry a shovel for my solo runs, cause its fun to kill enemies, to fight back, but lets be real if you're trying to play optimally you're not gonna bring a shovel with you just to kill nutcrackers, you're better off getting more loot.
you dont actually HAVE to carry the shotgun, you can drop it in or outside of the facility and go back for it as necessary, thus not taking any slots. Nutcrackers CAN kill you and they can do it EASILY, so if you're trying to be safe, yeah you can avoid them. However there are techniques to kill them and you can use stun grenades to help cycle them easier. Their attack patterns and search behavior make hit and runs a viable option with the right geometry too Using a shotgun on a thumper is just a bad idea, as it can be killed with the shovel without much trouble anyways, OR planned around in advance if you've been made aware it's in the facility. If you were Rending, then youd have PLENTY of shotguns, because nutcrackers spawn fairly often anyway. After that, the risk of getting MORE shotguns, decreases to nearly zero because they're ALSO one tap. As far as lootbugs are concerned, you can FOLLOW THEM to their stash by dropping an item for them to carry and tailing them, so you will always be able to reliably find WHERE it's hidden. There's still incentive to fight, the incentive is just risky.@@nutemmie
Tip for people trying this and grabbing whoopie cushions despite how shit their value is: Put em in the locker so they're out of the way and you know where they are when dogs are out
You can also put them outside as boobie traps for masks, watching your crew inside if they stick together odds are you aren't watching your own back for masks so the fart noise can be an alert

I love that using the walkie talkies from delivery pods to draw dogs away, means typing in "walk" to the terminal, because you are buying the dogs walkies so they elave you alone 😅
Just checked the vods and videos I've watched, I've seen you play Lethal Company for 45 hours and some change. So great to finally see this whole saga in one package! Fantastic run!
Something to note for stormy, one specific item will get about 20% of targeted lightning strikes due to the way it's programmed. The second most likely is 16%, 12.8% and goes down by 80% each time. If you see an item you brought out getting struck over and over again, it's probably one of the more targeted items, so you might want to consider leaving it unless you absolutely need it for the run Also, lightning can only strike the tops or sides of a surface as it moves down in long segments in a 32 meters by 32 meter random box around its targeted location. This means that staying near tall walls is a viable strategy to avoid random strikes

It is always very impressive with how collected you are with any sort of run. I am glad I found your channel about a year and a half ago, thanks for making great content!
if you didn't know already, you can do the crouch run glitch to avoid detection of outside doggos. I rebinded my crouch key to a key on my mouse so I can rapidly click it. And if done right, you can easily avoid all running sound and get to your ship quicker. The ghost girl (which in my opinion is usually a run killer, just like the jester) can be mostly entirely avoided if you play her right. Ghost girl aggros after the 2nd time you visually see her, so on the 3rd time and thereafter, she will always attack/hunt you. And you can avoid this entirely by just not looking at her. Just don't give in to the urge to look towards her when you hear the breathing or anything else. And if you do hear it and you need to go in her direction, then wait like 2-3 seconds after it stops making the sound to look behind you. Running into the ghost girl rather you look at her or not will also immediately kill you, and when she's aggro'd she will chase for anywhere between 15 and 30 seconds before giving up. Also, nutcrackers are basically no longer an issue anymore as long as you know their mechanics. They cannot see you if you don't move, but if you aggro them then they can see you regardless. It's super easy to fight them when you have some cover to hide behind and know that they fire 2 shots before reloading, which allows 1-2 hits in, and then you do that 2-3 times or so and you've got a shotgun. There is also practically no reason to fear the bracken. You look at him, he goes away and you have at least 30 seconds before he tries to attack you again. Since you're searching the entire facility for loot, you can also make a rough estimate of the map in your head (which you should be doing anyways to not get lost) and then keep that in mind for when looking for the bracken, cuz if you know he can only come from probably one direction, it's unlikely that he will take an extremely long route to get to you (but you should still be wary regardless). If you do aggro the bracken, then just drop any heavy objects and run away from him. He *should* only chase you for like 3-5 seconds before giving up, but I've had mixed interactions. Sometimes he gives up super quick and sometimes he just chases you for all eternity. Knowing this, my titan runs have been significantly better and now my biggest threat is just the thumper and coilheads.
@@Ect0fox it's actually not that bad if you know there is a bracken. Since you need to look at the bracken for like 0.5 seconds, just quickly glance to where you think it'll be and the coilhead won't move that far up.
in single player it's nearly impossible to aggro the bracken. You can just look at them forever. Also, in single player, the snare flea can never kill you, it will release after putting you to critical.
@@zeke7100 thing is about that is you need to catch the bracken when the coil is far away enough from you and/or is approaching you, as if he is hiding when you look, then approaches when you focused on the coil, he'll likely get you (like that one clip in this video)
In my opinion, if you ever find a laser pointer just activate it so then you can see how far the wall is away for dark maps even if you don’t really need it it is just good for determining how big a room is in dark areas

big tip for spiff and anyone who plays lethal for the titan enjoyers, the main way to deal with the mansions nutcracker (scary shotgun wielder) is to NOT move when his eye is up. you cant move your mouse, walk, or swap items, pretend you're a statue else they will not hesitate to shoot this can be hard sometimes when others are waiting at titans door (coilhead, bracken, spider, thumper) and you need to react, but the mansion nutcracker can be dealt with. bait it into chasing one of your more agile crewmates/friends, and another has a shovel, it will only chase your agile friend as long as shovel friend isnt seen by the nutcrackers eyes, resulting in a free shotgun :D also the nutcracker can be used to remove threats, im not sure if it attacks other enemies since usually my crew is too dumbdumb to make it into titan, but i've seen videos where its either baited into killing something in crossfire or it does it on purpose (i think?) hopefully this helps anyone whos new to titan as alot of people see the nutcracker as this OP end runner, but its really more a thorn in the butt than anything at the end of the day. free gun >:)

1:57 one time when playing there was a room FULL of landmines bc of a mod, my friends were carefully moving around them when a bracken nabbed one causing them all to blow up. And ofc everyone had the fart reverb mod installed so others heard a very interesting combo
Spiff, not all nutcrackers are weak. You just bought decorative nutcrackers. They were originally designed to crack nuts, some of them can still do it. My family has ready access to tree nuts, and my grandfather has a functional nutcracker.
Hey spiff, you most likely wont read this but at the low chance that you do: Items from the ship have the LOWEST chance to conduct electricity, they won't conduct any electricity sometimes at all even if they're metal. You have to get a item from the FACILITY that is metal for the lightning rod strategy to be 100% safe (no RNG lightning strikes)

about bracken lag, they lag especially on titan, because their pathing is either to go behind you or to go to the furthest place they can find while trying to avoid obstacles, so that covers an especially long distance because of titan's dungeons being 2.35 map size

The worm isnt broken, you can imagine it like a slow giant following you underground, if you keep walking with 0 weight or run, youre perpetually not above the giant as you outrun it. As soon as it gets below you, it kills you. You only start running when it reaches you and starts drilling up, thats how you live. its quite literally a hitbox that follows you around till you trigger it by being inside it

Incentive to fight:
Lootbug: get his loot and prevent him from stealing more
Nutcracker: boomstick to kill and sell
Bracken: no more bracken
Thumper: no more thumper
The incentive to fight is to rid enemies, also to assert dominance.
The issue with killing enemies is that they respawn. Basically there's a cap of how many ennemies can exist at the same time in the facility, and this cap gets higher for harder moons.
So if you're already at that cap, killing an easy ennemy like a snare flea or a loot bug will free slots for possibly harder enemies, like a coil head.
So in the end, killing enemies isnt that worth it. It makes you take risks, it costs an inventory slot (and weight) for the shovel, and while that can work in a group, in a solo run that's a huge cost for very little reward.
@@nutemmieonly kind of right. Killing the nutcracker gives you an item that trivializes killing ANYTHING with a healthbar, so its always worth it to kill them
Killing a lootbug gives you more money, so if you kill it when youre wrapping up you can make off with the money and (hopefully) not deal with the consequences
@SupraShade Weeeell, for the nutcracker it gives you a shotgun that trivializes killing 4 enemies with a healthbar, and this is if you decide to carry the shotgun and the ammo, sacrificing 3 inventory slots, so in the more likely solo case that you're using only the shotgun as a weapon, you'll most likely only kill 2 guys before the shotgun becomes just another piece of loot.
Now take into account that most of the annoying enemies in solo are indestructible or have too much health to be one shot by it (im thinking coil head, jester, ghost girl, giant, dogs) and the shotgun really doesnt trivializes much in solo. It might kill a thumper, but you can also not approach the thumper without expanding 25% of your inventory.
Also lets not forget that nutcrackers CAN kill you in a fight. Even if you can get very good against them, you're never truly safe from a weird movement from them that will deal the instakill contact damage.
As for the lootbugs, it'll give you money IF you find their den, IF there's actual loot and not 3 keys in the den and IF they arent too many of them so that its still winnable (I once attacked a pack of three, they all hit back at the same time, killing me instantly).
And I mean, I carry a shovel for my solo runs, cause its fun to kill enemies, to fight back, but lets be real if you're trying to play optimally you're not gonna bring a shovel with you just to kill nutcrackers, you're better off getting more loot.
you dont actually HAVE to carry the shotgun, you can drop it in or outside of the facility and go back for it as necessary, thus not taking any slots. Nutcrackers CAN kill you and they can do it EASILY, so if you're trying to be safe, yeah you can avoid them. However there are techniques to kill them and you can use stun grenades to help cycle them easier. Their attack patterns and search behavior make hit and runs a viable option with the right geometry too
Using a shotgun on a thumper is just a bad idea, as it can be killed with the shovel without much trouble anyways, OR planned around in advance if you've been made aware it's in the facility. If you were Rending, then youd have PLENTY of shotguns, because nutcrackers spawn fairly often anyway. After that, the risk of getting MORE shotguns, decreases to nearly zero because they're ALSO one tap. As far as lootbugs are concerned, you can FOLLOW THEM to their stash by dropping an item for them to carry and tailing them, so you will always be able to reliably find WHERE it's hidden. There's still incentive to fight, the incentive is just risky.@@nutemmie

Tip for people trying this and grabbing whoopie cushions despite how shit their value is: Put em in the locker so they're out of the way and you know where they are when dogs are out
You can also put them outside as boobie traps for masks, watching your crew inside if they stick together odds are you aren't watching your own back for masks so the fart noise can be an alert

canonically a contract is a “season” not a month. more accurately he only did a 9th, but it’s still really good considering the crew isn’t meant to get that far EVEN WITH 4 people at the same time

I really like how these videos are edited. They have that casual chill vibe that makes streams so easy to watch a ton of, but none of the natural boring lulls that come from any kind of live content.

I love that using the walkie talkies from delivery pods to draw dogs away, means typing in "walk" to the terminal, because you are buying the dogs walkies so they elave you alone 😅

Something to note for stormy, one specific item will get about 20% of targeted lightning strikes due to the way it's programmed. The second most likely is 16%, 12.8% and goes down by 80% each time. If you see an item you brought out getting struck over and over again, it's probably one of the more targeted items, so you might want to consider leaving it unless you absolutely need it for the run
Also, lightning can only strike the tops or sides of a surface as it moves down in long segments in a 32 meters by 32 meter random box around its targeted location. This means that staying near tall walls is a viable strategy to avoid random strikes

Holy moly, 2 hours of masterpiece?! Spigg really cooked on this one
if you didn't know already, you can do the crouch run glitch to avoid detection of outside doggos. I rebinded my crouch key to a key on my mouse so I can rapidly click it. And if done right, you can easily avoid all running sound and get to your ship quicker.
The ghost girl (which in my opinion is usually a run killer, just like the jester) can be mostly entirely avoided if you play her right.
Ghost girl aggros after the 2nd time you visually see her, so on the 3rd time and thereafter, she will always attack/hunt you. And you can avoid this entirely by just not looking at her. Just don't give in to the urge to look towards her when you hear the breathing or anything else. And if you do hear it and you need to go in her direction, then wait like 2-3 seconds after it stops making the sound to look behind you.
Running into the ghost girl rather you look at her or not will also immediately kill you, and when she's aggro'd she will chase for anywhere between 15 and 30 seconds before giving up.
Also, nutcrackers are basically no longer an issue anymore as long as you know their mechanics. They cannot see you if you don't move, but if you aggro them then they can see you regardless. It's super easy to fight them when you have some cover to hide behind and know that they fire 2 shots before reloading, which allows 1-2 hits in, and then you do that 2-3 times or so and you've got a shotgun.
There is also practically no reason to fear the bracken. You look at him, he goes away and you have at least 30 seconds before he tries to attack you again. Since you're searching the entire facility for loot, you can also make a rough estimate of the map in your head (which you should be doing anyways to not get lost) and then keep that in mind for when looking for the bracken, cuz if you know he can only come from probably one direction, it's unlikely that he will take an extremely long route to get to you (but you should still be wary regardless). If you do aggro the bracken, then just drop any heavy objects and run away from him. He *should* only chase you for like 3-5 seconds before giving up, but I've had mixed interactions. Sometimes he gives up super quick and sometimes he just chases you for all eternity.
Knowing this, my titan runs have been significantly better and now my biggest threat is just the thumper and coilheads.
Only reason to fear bracken is the deadly bracken and coilhead duo
@@Ect0fox it's actually not that bad if you know there is a bracken. Since you need to look at the bracken for like 0.5 seconds, just quickly glance to where you think it'll be and the coilhead won't move that far up.
cheating
in single player it's nearly impossible to aggro the bracken. You can just look at them forever. Also, in single player, the snare flea can never kill you, it will release after putting you to critical.
@@zeke7100 thing is about that is you need to catch the bracken when the coil is far away enough from you and/or is approaching you, as if he is hiding when you look, then approaches when you focused on the coil, he'll likely get you (like that one clip in this video)

In my opinion, if you ever find a laser pointer just activate it so then you can see how far the wall is away for dark maps even if you don’t really need it it is just good for determining how big a room is in dark areas

big tip for spiff and anyone who plays lethal
for the titan enjoyers, the main way to deal with the mansions nutcracker (scary shotgun wielder) is to NOT move when his eye is up. you cant move your mouse, walk, or swap items, pretend you're a statue else they will not hesitate to shoot
this can be hard sometimes when others are waiting at titans door (coilhead, bracken, spider, thumper) and you need to react, but the mansion nutcracker can be dealt with. bait it into chasing one of your more agile crewmates/friends, and another has a shovel, it will only chase your agile friend as long as shovel friend isnt seen by the nutcrackers eyes, resulting in a free shotgun :D
also the nutcracker can be used to remove threats, im not sure if it attacks other enemies since usually my crew is too dumbdumb to make it into titan, but i've seen videos where its either baited into killing something in crossfire or it does it on purpose (i think?)
hopefully this helps anyone whos new to titan as alot of people see the nutcracker as this OP end runner, but its really more a thorn in the butt than anything at the end of the day. free gun >:)

1:57 one time when playing there was a room FULL of landmines bc of a mod, my friends were carefully moving around them when a bracken nabbed one causing them all to blow up. And ofc everyone had the fart reverb mod installed so others heard a very interesting combo

Spiff, not all nutcrackers are weak. You just bought decorative nutcrackers. They were originally designed to crack nuts, some of them can still do it. My family has ready access to tree nuts, and my grandfather has a functional nutcracker.

Items from the ship have the LOWEST chance to conduct electricity, they won't conduct any electricity sometimes at all even if they're metal.
You have to get a item from the FACILITY that is metal for the lightning rod strategy to be 100% safe (no RNG lightning strikes)

Solo play is insane. I've done a few Titan runs solo and my nerves just can't take it, the horror and tension in this game is way too good when you're by yourself.

about bracken lag, they lag especially on titan, because their pathing is either to go behind you or to go to the furthest place they can find while trying to avoid obstacles, so that covers an especially long distance because of titan's dungeons being 2.35 map size

Ima be real I was bawling my eyes out when I heard matpat was retiring. Man, living in the hometown of a massive TH-camr who’s leaving TH-cam can hit you hard.
The worm isnt broken, you can imagine it like a slow giant following you underground, if you keep walking with 0 weight or run, youre perpetually not above the giant as you outrun it. As soon as it gets below you, it kills you. You only start running when it reaches you and starts drilling up, thats how you live. its quite literally a hitbox that follows you around till you trigger it by being inside it
