Slovakia is such a nice country and I am so proud it is my home. Sadly, many people don't know about it which is because of insufficient advertising and overall campaign. Also, there are those prejudices about "Eastern Europe" even though we are very much Central Europe XD. If you come to Slovakia again I recommend visiting my hometown here in the west of Slovakia, the city of Trnava. Trnava is known here in Slovakia as "little Rome" because of the sheer number of churches per square km. We have a lot of those plus other nice places. From a historical standpoint, Trnava was the first city in Slovakia to be granted a town charter by the king and one of the main centers of the church here in Slovakia. Anyways amazing video.

Thanks so much Farzana!
Vivat Slovakia!
nice video...I was born in Bratislava - my grandmother in Sud Tirol and my grandfather was German - so I am Italian- German- Slovak and I spend all over Europe but I love Slovakia ...I would definitely add Beckov Castle - it is incredible
That’s awesome! I gotta check out that castle 🏰
@@RyanShirley Little... and interesting is also the story of how that castle /Matus Cak originated - the great master to which 4 castles belonged was hunting and his court clown Becko made him laugh.. Matus said he would fulfill his wish ... they were under that only rock wide, and he said he wanted a castle there.

Amazing movie, as always Ryan !! :-) I know Slovakia very well :-)
Thanks Petr! Have you explored a lot of Slovakia?
The High Tatras looks like both Mordor and the Misty Mountains from Rodger Garland's live action Tolkien related artworks man.
You couldn't have described them better:)
Thank you @@RyanShirley
mine is Košice city, but place you choosed are also beautiful, of course... Thanx for very nice video! ❤
Awesome castles thank you for the video
Slovakia has the best castles!
As a person from Stara Lubovna, I can say the castle is cool and the houses under it as well. 😁 I have been there so many times there is nothing new for me haha. But for people from outside Lubovna and nearby cities it is a great place to visit 😁🤘🇸🇰
So cool you live so close :) Where is your favorite place in Slovakia?
@@RyanShirley Personally I love Liptov region over all 😊. And also I love south Slovakia.
I plan to visit Slovakia in April/May 2023. The castle in Stará Lubovna is one of the top places on my list. There’s an old wooden restaurant and distillery in town that might be fun to visit as well.
I am from Slovakia and I can only write that you have done a good job with your vid 👍 yeah Slovakia is a small country but really really nice. I recomend to visit this jewel in the heart of Europe. Have a nice life everybody 🙏🏻
Thanks so much mate! Where is your favorite place in Slovakia?

Thanks Djemo! I agree, Slovakia definitely is one of Europe’s hidden gems 💎 looking forward to your next videos 😁
Fantastic Ryan as always. :) I liked Sulov Rocks ... I subscribed to your friend channel too. CU...
Thanks so much Reddy! :)
Krása! Love it - beautiful, thanks for video!
I gotta check out Krása!
Thanks so much Simon for your kind words! I need to come and visit Trnava now! Sounds like such a magical place.
Thank you for the video about our country. More trip tips for you: Banská Štiavnica, Čičmany, Vlkolínec, Bardejov, Košice, Drevené chrámy v slovenskej časti Karpatského oblúka ( Wooden temples in the Slovak part of the Carpathian Arch for example Hronsek), Chmarošský viadukt, Turčianske Teplice (hammam), National parks: Poloniny, Muránska planina, Slovenský kras- Zádiel valley, Low Tatras, Malá Fatra, Veľká Fatra, ...opal mines near town Prešov.
I need to come and visit them allb
I love slovakia ❤
Such a special country!
Nice🌿
