Did you know? The movie was intended to end the entire show, because the creator Stephen Hillenburg was worried the show would jump the shark. Nickelodeon wanted more episodes of the show, so he left it to Paul Tibbitt (which explains why the show went bad) until 2015, well even then, the first half of season nine was nowhere near as abysmal or dreaded as seasons six to eight.

Upgraded visuals, Widescreen display, improved controls, remastered and redone music, spiced up boss fights, couple more levels, animated cutscenes with voice acting, and top that all off with a $8 price tag in the Nintendo Switch eshop and BOOM! The definitive way to play the GBA version of the movie game.

One of the best Game Boy Advance SpongeBob SquarePants games, even more so when you realize WayForward worked on it. They also worked on the Game Boy Advance and DS versions of Creature From The Krusty Krab, and the Game Boy Advance version of Lights, Camera, Pants!, of which are all really good games, DS version of CFTKK not withstanding, in it’s own way. With the exception of SuperSponge and Atlantis SquarePantis, every Game Boy Advance SpongeBob SquarePants game share the same composer: Martin Schioeler. Martin Schioeler doesn’t get enough credit as a video game composer, in my opinion. His SpongeBob tracks are really good. But, yeah, this is an awesome platformer.

Donkey Kong games, which use the same control scheme verbatim, so, that’s very hypocritical. I love that game a lot, Abe I wish people would stop complaining about it. My younger sister bought this game back in 2004 i warned her that the game was probably going to suck since it was made by thq and she should buy a game made by nintendo or konami instead but she just ignored me and this game was at least playable it could be way worse but i don't get why they where still using password saves in 2004 we where used to saving games by that point.
i always found this game to be some what offsetting and creepy. not sure why there was a major glitch if you paused during the lose a life sequence you could restart the level with out losing a life lol

i remember playing this when i was 7 and 8 love this game as well! the gameplay and the 1st few worlds were fun and Nostalgic but i didn't like the 5th and 6th worlds and the final boss. and also the 2nd and 3rd trench levels were difficult! but anyways great GBA game!
