My partner's Croatian & taken me to a few Hajduk games, not huge crowds but nothing in England compares to the atmosphere. Before Covid we watched a few games around Europe, the Genoa Sampdoria derby was awesome & Parc des Princes isn't like it was in the 90's but still PSG have crazy fans as do St. Etienne & we hope to visit Marseille next year - sadly they all better than any in the UK. Feyenoord fans are more like English style, or rather like it used to be in the 70/80's. The point I was making is that usually otherwise neutral International people with no direct connection usually jump on the bandwagon with Barca, Madrid, Liverpool or Man. Media & exposure man.. The more the club is known in the world, the more probability it has to make new fans.
Fyi in Malaysia for instance there are some fans supporting smaller clubs in EPL because they were exposed by studying in a university nearby the club's stadium/base.
Some even became a fan just because when they were kid their sibling/father/uncle brought back some of clubs merch from England.

More then 40% off the top 100 transfers off Bundesliga players where to the prem. The problem is that the teams are not nearly as rich as in other top leagues because they don't have some rich owner. It is very lazy to blame Bayern for the fact that a lot off players want to leave their club at some point when they can earn some more money somewhere else. BTW they even loaned money to Dortmund back in 2005 so that they could still afford to pay their players and not go bankrupt

The rivalry seems to go in cycles. In the 70’s it was Monchengladbach challenging for major honours? Once it was Weder Bremen, Hamburg, Cologne and Dortmund. Bayern will use their financial muscle to buy their rivals best players if they start losing money and league positions. It’s also kinda sickening that other teams don’t really compete. Dortmund at least try to take the fight to them. Seems that people are scared of Bayern.

It's not Bayern's dominance that destroyed it. It's the inevitable end result of the 50+1 rule. Bayern just happens to be the team who were able to capitalise on some early advantages decades ago and have used that to entrench their position. It was inevitable that one team would rise to the top and stay there permanently. The question now is: how long will German football fans put up with this? Will they be happy to see Bayern win at least 7 or 8 league titles every decade for the next few hundred years? Or will they say enough is enough at some point? We wait and see.

Bayern is not a charity, they did loan money to Dortmund of course in 2005 so they could keep paying their players wages but other then that why would bayern not be allowed to buy players from their own league, like literally every single club does ? Dortmund as an example have bought 10 Bundesliga players in the last 2 or 3 years alone. The only difference is that bayern has become one off the best best clubs in the world through good management innovative ideas and having the luck or skill to have had some off the best german players off all time to have come form their youth system. Like in 2012 in the final there were 4 players from the youth setup in the startring 11 with Schweini, Lahm, Alaba and Muller and Badstuber and Kroos were injured but they would have played otherwise. The difference with the other leagues is that the clubs don't have some rich owner that invests tons off money in the club. It is a very lazy argument to just blame Bayern for the fact that loads off good players leave their club to play somewhere else where they can earn more money.

The real problem with football is that it is not even a real sport anymore and truly it never was. Its more like Sportsentertainment. Money rules most of the success and Man City is the perfect example. Without all the arab money the club would still be the no.2 in Manchester. Bayern is another good example, before the 70s they were a good club, then they could use the Olympiastadium for free and since then they are the richest club with the most money, most power, most success, pretty predictable. If you dont believe me just take a look at AC MILAN. With Berlusconi-money they were the best, without they are just an average team, no skills neede, just money. Another problem is the way the clubs act, take Bayern Munich again, as Borussia Dortmund was growing a competition, they just bought M. Götze, M. Hummels and R. Lewandowski, so they just destroyed the competition instead of trying to improve themselfes. But now they are crying that noboby gives a fuck about the Bundesliga anymore but how do you want to do some marketing if you already know at the beginning whos winning? Same in Spain and France. The really sad thing about all of this is, that there is already a good solution for this problem, because it is already well known. Just introduce a salary cap like every other at least half professional sport like the NBA, NHL, NFL and F1.

as a bayern munich fan for 10 years from a country totally out of the region, I really want you haters to know that I don't give a damn about what you think. We are strong due to our hardworking players we paid using our money. Other clubs should buckle up and start buying some good players too. All the best.
