When you play this with low honor the conversation on the way to the fort is not about Arthur wanting to get through to Dutch or making amends with the time he has left, it's about how he's given up on Dutch, knows he doesn't have their best interest at heart and is only playing along with his plan until he finds out where Dutch is hiding the money. People who play the game only one way tend to complain that the choices in the story make no sense, when really the choice that aligns with how you've played the game will always make more sense because your Arthur's personality will be more in line with the choice that you think is the only one he would make.

Because if he were to randomly be shot without the knowledge that he’s guaranteed to die, he wouldn’t change anything about himself and he’d die miserably. But Arthur having that reassurance that he doesn’t have much time left is an opportunity for him to make a change and, at least at the end, be a better man. Thats the way humans are, unfortunately, most of us won’t make any change unless we’re pushed to it, and for some, dying is the push they need.
The way that Arthur says “I doubt that” after Rains Fall says his son probably thinks his father lived longer than was good for him, is so powerful… so much respect and admiration Arthur has for a great leader trying his hardest to keep peace. It’s so great how rockstar had Arthur helping a chief trying to protect his people through peace just as Arthur’s gang is falling apart due to his leader becoming more violent and less concerned about the safety of his people.

It really sucks to have to replay the missions with no items or good status... I mean, the first time I played I didn't want to look at guides and shit, I just wanted to enjoy the story... Now getting those accuracy missions with low Dead Eye or no recovery items suuuuucks...

When Arthur reveals his sickness to Charles .. and the conversation they had, made me feel less bad for Arthur and more bad for John Marston... At least, Sean, Callenders, Lenny, Hosea, Kieran, Dutch, Arthur, Javier (maybe) and Bill knew that they might not see the next day with the kind of lives they lived.. But it was all going well for John.. finally raising a family, living a life they all dreamt of, only to be deceived and killed by Edgar Ross... John deserved better.. and even Jack deserved to be an Author and not a gunslinger/outlaw..
So for head shooting people on the way to the jail. What I did was I watched every cutsean (sometimes skipping them bugs out the objectives) and if I F'd up... well you need to restart the whole mission otherwise even if you where doing the objectives they won't count. When it come to Charles taking out one guy and you take out the other... for the first couple you take out the "Right Guard". For the second couple you take out the "Guard On The Ground" (Not the tower guy with the lantern leaning out). For the third couple inside the fort you take out the "Left Guard". You do not need multi-kills, but when someone is by themselves make sure you kill them. It was the only thing not giving me the gold, but I have it now and my trophy for 70 gold missions... so close to that platinum. ^-^
My games glitched! I get to the canoe part and all Arthur does is jump in the boat. I keep failing the mission because it says I lost Charles. Any ideas??

I was so in to the quest, and got very nerveus once we safed Eagle Flies from his cell and had to run out of there. I didn't even notice the canon, shame on me .... I just blasted the hole in the wall with dynamite, stupid me haha, if you ever get the chance to use the canon, USE IT. Love it. I loved bringing down that boat on Guarma , that was epic, I didn't even know they had those repeater kinda canons that could shot a few rounds before you need to reload, really cool !!

If it's headshotting the guards in the fort before getting to Eagle Flies, you need to kill them all, the two guards you kill with Charles outside the fort don't count. - 10:50 Here, make sure you kill BOTH guards, otherwise you fail. Use Deadeye before Charles gets the kill. - For the canoe, the counter starts when you get in, some enemies will already be on you, so only kill them when you jump in.

He wanted to help the natives get somewhere safe, but yep he definitely would be on Arthur's side. Micah and Dutch wouldn't have escaped if Charles was there, or he would have pushed Arthur to keep going with John, maybe even carried him.

No offense, I'm just crossing this mission and during the complete shooting there are only 6 misses in the fortress (and the player in the video had 8) to have 80% accuracy at the end of the mission, I doubt he won a gold medal for this mission🤥
Omg these objectives are fucken broken not just here, there are several missions that have the same problem. i headshot every soldier in my way and still didn’t get the objective checked.
I liked the story but i felt it was too much too often of the same old Dutch"plan,faith,nonsense" "aw dutch you sure?" "Dutch is different". It got a bit repetitive, like why can't they sit dwn and reason, Arthur barely tries to talk sense aside from at the wrong time. They should have added way more gang life missions, sucessi robberies, cons,grifts,shenanigans,etc. Way more missions with you and Charles, you and jav, you and john,sean,etc. (Plus multiple mixed groups of them to really bring out the dynamic - example, a mission with Uncle and Sean would be interesting, and who wouldn't want to Rob a jewelry store with john and Javier?
I agree, I would've loved to see more of uncle and Sean's dynamic, you can see them drinking and singing together around camp often, I would've liked if it was explored more in non missable events. I was expecting that since you literally live with outlaws, you'd get to break the law with them more often or just have silly fun. I still love the game regardless

It happened to me as well but I guess cause it count some secondary missions as well. For me the trophy popped up around 75 mission or so

It is always possible to use health items, if you have them in your Satchel, but to get the Gold Medal, you must not use them.
@@dinorex3464 no you can use health items. Only if the mission says complete the mission without taking health items, you cant use health items.

I liked the story but i felt it was too much too often of the same old Dutch"plan,faith,nonsense" "aw dutch you sure?" "Dutch is different". It got a bit repetitive, like why can't they sit dwn and reason, Arthur barely tries to talk sense aside from at the wrong time.
They should have added way more gang life missions, sucessi robberies, cons,grifts,shenanigans,etc. Way more missions with you and Charles, you and jav, you and john,sean,etc. (Plus multiple mixed groups of them to really bring out the dynamic - example, a mission with Uncle and Sean would be interesting, and who wouldn't want to Rob a jewelry store with john and Javier?
I agree, I would've loved to see more of uncle and Sean's dynamic, you can see them drinking and singing together around camp often, I would've liked if it was explored more in non missable events. I was expecting that since you literally live with outlaws, you'd get to break the law with them more often or just have silly fun. I still love the game regardless
