I hope it hasn't damaged the case, if not just replace the bearings, cams, and oil pump. And if all else fails, twin cam engines are getting cheaper now, you can just about get a complete engine for the price of rebuilding the cam chest. Good luck.
Sounds like after they wrecked it they took the good engine out and put a junk one in that’s why the exhaust pipes were loose and that’s why you got the problem you’re having with that motor. Either way good luck with getting back on the road take care😎👍
Sounds like a good opportunity to "upgrade". Plenty of big cube crate engines out there with a warranty. But that's the Hot Rodder in me.
