He looks old, but still has a boyish charm that is present in his eyes, his mannerisms and his voice
He doesn't look old, just tired, like he's just looking more and more like act 3 of Fight club.
He looks like a real 50 year old not one that lives at the plastic surgeon like Brad Pitt.
I won’t belittle this by saying the “I’m a simple man, I click scenario” because it’s nonsensical ...this guy is probably one of very few that is worthy of that for me. He rarely has nothing of value or that isn’t entertaining to say. Just a pleasure of a human being.
We’re not more youthful than our parents, were more honest. Life forced people into stages decades ago. We’re freed up now to be honest, generally.
Nah we're more youthful. Technology, Healthcare, diet and exercise and the internet.
I saw American History X for the first time recently. Edward had a masterful performance

I just turned 60 on Monday and I can't relate to it at all guys ,I still play my guitar daily,ride my motorcycle and bicycle ,listen to music just like I have since I was a teenager. SMH !
If you are in reasonable health which you obviously are, its really all in the mind, people make too much out of age.

I think that's his point. He doesn't feel his age. 50 is so young! What 50 was 50 years ago it's totally different story. I see often it's just number. But we can't also escape forever it, be it when we are 70 or 80 or whatever that age is for different people. At some point there will be illnesses and we don't have the strenght we had in our 20s. Let's enjoy as long as we can! 😎😎 😎
Hands down one of the best if his generation wish he would've done more movies but still had a lot ahead of him...just check his resume his first day 5 movies just came in like a 🌪️

No one like mentally feels their age. It only hits you when you experience pain from doing regular stuff that shouldn't be a big deal. That's when you are reminded of your age.
If older guys really " mentally felt their age" they'd stop leering so much at young girls like they did as young men.

i think they leer because they feel their age. those men are trying to go backwards because they are scared of what's ahead.

One thing I'm really relieved about getting older is that my taste is aging with me - the women I find attractive are 35 - 45 (I'm 39), younger women in their 20's just seem like girls to me. I'm married so it's all academic, but still a relief.

I swear to god, I'm 43 and feel like I could sincerely express the exact same sentiment, just of course update the number.
It's because the body ages, but whatever it is that we call "I" is not the body. "I" is just along for the ride it and feels the same at 5, 15, or 50.
"some of it is perspective" yes... but a lot of it is never having to worry about things like money, affording healthcare, rent, car payments, etc. These are the things that wear you down & age you
