I won’t belittle this by saying the “I’m a simple man, I click scenario” because it’s nonsensical ...this guy is probably one of very few that is worthy of that for me. He rarely has nothing of value or that isn’t entertaining to say. Just a pleasure of a human being.
Hands down one of the best if his generation wish he would've done more movies but still had a lot ahead of him...just check his resume his first day 5 movies just came in like a 🌪️
I just turned 60 on Monday and I can't relate to it at all guys ,I still play my guitar daily, ride my motorcycle and bicycle ,listen to music just like I have since I was a teenager. SMH !
I think that's his point. He doesn't feel his age. 50 is so young! What 50 was 50 years ago it's totally different story. I see often it's just number. But we can't also escape forever it, be it when we are 70 or 80 or whatever that age is for different people. At some point there will be illnesses and we don't have the strenght we had in our 20s. Let's enjoy as long as we can! 😎😎 😎
No one like mentally feels their age. It only hits you when you experience pain from doing regular stuff that shouldn't be a big deal. That's when you are reminded of your age. If older guys really " mentally felt their age" they'd stop leering so much at young girls like they did as young men.
One thing I'm really relieved about getting older is that my taste is aging with me - the women I find attractive are 35 - 45 (I'm 39), younger women in their 20's just seem like girls to me. I'm married so it's all academic, but still a relief.
I completely understand what they mean. My grandmother would look at herself in the mirror and be surprised by the wrinkles. She was always so young-hearted.
1:13 - Or, conversely, you see how terribly fucked up they are in terms of being terrible parents, or terrible people for the choices they ended up making in relation to your childhood.
2:40 "I can't get married, I'm a 30 year old *boy*." I swear to god, I'm 43 and feel like I could sincerely express the exact same sentiment, just of course update the number.
"some of it is perspective" yes... but a lot of it is never having to worry about things like money, affording healthcare, rent, car payments, etc. These are the things that wear you down & age you
Mike Whelan Comedy No, I’m sure he doesn’t. It’s a “languages evolve” situation where idiots who can’t do simple verb conjugations get to decide what’s correct and not correct. There will soon be enough idiots who speak like that (if there aren’t already) that “he look old” will be considered correct grammar.
He looks old, but still has a boyish charm that is present in his eyes, his mannerisms and his voice
He doesn't look old, just tired, like he's just looking more and more like act 3 of Fight club.
He looks like a real 50 year old not one that lives at the plastic surgeon like Brad Pitt.

We’re not more youthful than our parents, were more honest. Life forced people into stages decades ago. We’re freed up now to be honest, generally.
Nah we're more youthful. Technology, Healthcare, diet and exercise and the internet.
Great actor, brilliant mind.. Wish he was in more movies.

He looks like dried overripe bitter melon.
I saw American History X for the first time recently. Edward had a masterful performance
Robbed of the Oscar for best actor
oscar or not, I know he had one of the greatest performances of all time, regardless of what others think, much less the 'Academy'
Carson Davis Yeah still he got robbed. And we all say we dont care about the Oscars until one of our favorite actors wins one.
Ed is a great actor. I especially loved his work in Infrastructure. Exceptional.

If you are in reasonable health which you obviously are, its really all in the mind, people make too much out of age.
@@ketchup5344 Thanks David I agree !
I love your reply and your perspective: thank you for this.
@@erryan10 You are welcome and thank you ! :-)

He's still cute especially when he's laughing and his teeth showing. :D

I only realize my age when I look in the mirror ! :-)
i think they leer because they feel their age. those men are trying to go backwards because they are scared of what's ahead.
@@haret0n true but I think many men think they are still desirable(in their heads) to whomever they are leering at.
*no one

He hasn't hardly aged at all..
It's just the way the wound healed when Tyler shot himself at the end.
He’s an old soul in the spiritual sense cares about the environment it’s fabulous human being
Such a talented guy, love ed norton ❤
I had no fucking idea he was 50! He still stuck in the Fight Club era for me
He's gorgeous at any age. I'd still say yes immediately.
😿😿 straight to the point
“I’m a 30 year old boy.” - Ed in Fight Club
I hear that.
I completely understand what they mean. My grandmother would look at herself in the mirror and be surprised by the wrinkles. She was always so young-hearted.

Norton the best actor of all times.
It's because the body ages, but whatever it is that we call "I" is not the body. "I" is just along for the ride it and feels the same at 5, 15, or 50.
Well people are ageing slower
Jesus, I'm 43 and these guys both look younger than me. But I guess they could afford to keep their hair maybe.. I don't know.
No one look 20 forever he’s absolutely fine if he where not married I’d move to New York 🗽
Sam Jones looks like he's 30
He look old
Not...

I think he's still cute
