Let me tell you something son. Larry Bird and I played in a huge Pro-Am tennis tournament at Waltham Racuet club 30 years ago. I was the pro, we made it all the way to the finals. Larry was the best, no matter what I asked him to do, he would follow through. Great personality too.

He said "there is no defending it, you turn and his belly button is eye level with you, and he's 7' tall". Lol

In one of the first episodes, Roc Emerson's father, a grumpy old Black man, said there are no great White ball players in the NBA.
Roc says, "Aw, c'mon, Pop! You tellin' me Larry Bird ain't good?"
His father responded, "Oh, Larry Bird's good. Larry Bird is REEAL good. Larry Bird is Black."
