Grew up a Dr. J fan and always rooted against the Celtics when they played the Lakers. I will say this: Bird gets overlooked as one of the best. I'd take him over Lebron any day of the week. The numbers were similar, but Bird was a killer. You can't teach that.

As a diehard New York Knicks, I grew up watching my favorite player Bernard King. But Larry Bird was my idol. Bird had the sweetest shot and touch.
