I've had my issues with AH's story, but the intro to this mission has always been one of my favorite moments. We've won the battle, the war is about over, the day should be saved, we should be celebrating, but then the enemy decides to massacre their own people en masse out of nothing but spite. You hear your ally on the ground broken and begging for help, but as a pilot, there's nothing you can do. Then the music goes from sad to furious rock as Magic tells you the enemy is trying to do that shit again, and you have only one answer to that. "No".
enemy radio communications - We were not prepared for this! They have premium Apaches, premium F-22s! They ignore physics! I can't knock them down! *sound of an exploded tank* - They have endless ammunition and fuel! How can one fight against them? - Maybe we'll blow up Trinity over their heads? - If this doesn't work then we're doomed. *Trinity explosion* - ... - Oh, fuck it all! Call Markov and everyone! - Everyone? - EVERYONE!
It’s a good gameplay, don’t get me wrong, thank the algorithm for recommending…but both as an AH player (and other AC titles) I can’t not see that this is kind of the most inefficient way to deal with the first part of the mission, is obviously what is intended, but could be even faster and Easier
@@RookFox the missiles part is easier if you go pass in the Dogfight mode at the beginning, switch to 4AAM, and from behind shoot, and only enter the Dogfight for the last surviving cases, is both easier to shoot them down and faster

Pulling a Pugachev’s Cobra in combat with a Flanker prior to a shoot-down is the biggest “fuck you” in dogfighting. Epic.

I enjoy that Markov fight more than the final mission one honestly, though it does get kinda hard to keep up with him on ace lol
