We are getting rain now. I can't wait for growing season here. Yes wow your seeds look good🙂 I wish I had a high tunnel. Jill girl you been busy....looks good. You probably could make a little salad with whats left. Have a nice weekend all.🥰
Love this channel! Thank you for sharing! We learn so much from y’all about gardening in this area!! Can’t wait for March 1st! The plants are looking wonderful!! 🎉
I need to get busy. Between the cold and not feeling good, I have gotten behind. I still need to plant some seeds, clean dead plants out of my containers, etc. It's a never-ending story.
I've got more than 200 tomatoes and tomatillos ready to be potted up this weekend then I will get the peppers seeded. New beds going in this weekend! Spring is just around the corner!
Hi Jill, I have got to get outside and uncover my carrots and turnips. I fear my turnips will look much like yours, but hoping they will rebound. Ground is so soggy right now, will have to give it a few days to dry out. I need to fertilize my onions and garlic too. Have spinach growing in a container on the patio and looks great. Then get busy seed starting herbs, flowers, lettuce, spinach, peppers, tomatoes, and whatever else I decide I have room for. Mostly plan to grow beans this year, so wasn't in to much of a rush to get seeds started.
I love it!! Yall have so much going on there. We still have a few weeks before I start seeds here. I tried herbs last year, I got basil and chives to grow but thyme and rosemary, I can't get it to germinate. I wish I lived closer and could buy from yall. I hope we all have a better growing season this year. I live in Va so last year we had that crazy heatwave . I can't even imagine how yall handle it all the time. I definitely agree , we gotta do all we can .
Girl, sometimes we don’t know if we’re coming or going, but we keep on going no matter what. Pop those seeds in the freezer a little bit and then put them in some warm water to try to see if they germinate before plant planting.
I’m in SE Michigan. Couple of years ago I tried seeing how long my greens could live in the winter. Chard and Kale did the best and the only thing that killed them were a week of -15 to -20 that lasted a week with snow and ice. You should be able to trim those up and they should bounce back
Well, I'm jealous! I am about to pull my beets and get them done. I got 3 tomatoes, picked 😄Not sure how many the squirrels have gotten, I'm finding them everywhere...the little heifers! 😆😆 Still waiting for the roof. We got another tentative date of next Weds. Can't do anything else until that is done, including the rebuilding of the greenhouse.
Hey Jill, glad to see I am not the only one chompin at the bit to get planting. Wow, y'all are growing lots. Seedlings look awesome! I am trying to grow some Sage, but having a hard time getting it to germinate. Do you have any tips on getting the seeds to pop? They are fresh seeds I am using, in case you were wondering.
What type of peppers are you using for the paprika. I honestly haven't had time to do much planting, although I do want to. To many health issues, Honestly this is probably going to be my last or next to last garden, so I want to make it bigger to preserve for everyone.
I am so sorry but i love your posts and videos, have subscribed for so long and in no way hold a grudge against you, however I am from Canada and have to take a stand for anything on my website and life that is wrong. I wish you all the best but cannot in good faith care about a country that will turn against us
I'm sorry, but what are you talking about? We haven't turned against Canada! If you are talking about the tariff. That is just a bargaining tool that many countries use to get another country to change a behavior or giveaway more favorable deal. The President uses these tools to get things changed for the benefit of America, just like Canada does for ya'lls benefit.
Girl don’t let politics take your joy. Ain’t no political in control of any of us! I just leave it all to the Lord . I pray you can too. Thank you for your support over the years. Appreciate you.
