Every time I see Jinkx perform, and watch her star rise higher and higher, it reminds me what a master Rupaul is at showcasing excellence in the art of drag, and helping bring other queens into the spotlight. Jinkx was so one-of-a-kind and such a unique talent on her first Drag Race season, but she received quite a bit of disdain and bullying from other competitors. Rupaul chose her as the winner anyway, and look at her now! Queen of all Queens. ✨💖
Yeah it's interesting to think if Ru had never took the chance on an idea for a show in the first place, , the world would never know all the amazing talent and entertainment they'd been missing. A lot of the queens are doing amazing and things. But Jinkx is a legend already. On the way to GOAT land.😁
This is such a great interview! They have perfect chemistry. Jinkx is so naturally funny and Seth is always up for all of her jokes, he lets her shine while also being a captivating performer. Just perfect :')
Jinx is the real deal, when it comes to talent worthy to shine on Broadway. She is a DIVA in her own right. Singing, acting and dancing. I can not wait to see her live on Broadway. She deserves this role and I hope more roles come her way!
I saw her perform about a month after she won the first time on RPDR and she was as good live as you would think she’d be. And she took photos with fans afterward and never even showed a trace of being tired or wanting to hurry up the process.
They need Jinkx to play Cruella in a 101 Dalmatians musical! There have been two different ones so far, one in 2009, and one in 2022 in the UK, with completely different scores. Jinks would be marvelous as Cruella in one of those!! Imagine the (exotic animal) wardrobe she would get! (I’m picturing a flamingo feathered gown for one scene!)

Jinkx is my patronus. She fills me with such joy. She's witch-y, she's nonbinary, she's talented, she's awesome. I adore her.
My husband and I have loved RuPaul forever. They are quite simply an elemental force.
Yeah it's interesting to think if Ru had never took the chance on an idea for a show in the first place, , the world would never know all the amazing talent and entertainment they'd been missing. A lot of the queens are doing amazing and things. But Jinkx is a legend already. On the way to GOAT land.😁
So proud of her, she is one of the nicest queens ive ever met. She deserves all the good fortune in the world 🖤
This is such a great interview! They have perfect chemistry. Jinkx is so naturally funny and Seth is always up for all of her jokes, he lets her shine while also being a captivating performer. Just perfect :')
Couldn't disagree more.
Perfectly said and 💯 agree.
It’s Monsoon season on Broadway!! Jinkx is amazing and I’m so thrilled about how far she’s come since season 5 of Drag Race.
Smiled the entire time I was watching this. Love seeing queens like Jinkx, Shangela and Bob have so much success after RPDR
I want her on every talk show!! She deserves all the flowers!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
JINKX IS EVERYTHING. Her wave and kiss and giggle at the end slayed me AND brought me back to life
These kinds of interviews…holy cow. If this had been on when I was a teenager. Thanks Seth and team. This is amazing.
Jinx is the real deal, when it comes to talent worthy to shine on Broadway. She is a DIVA in her own right. Singing, acting and dancing. I can not wait to see her live on Broadway. She deserves this role and I hope more roles come her way!
She was FANTASTIC in that show!
The happy tears I'm crying. Jinkx has always been my favourite drag queens. It's on my bucket list to see her perform one day
I saw her perform about a month after she won the first time on RPDR and she was as good live as you would think she’d be. And she took photos with fans afterward and never even showed a trace of being tired or wanting to hurry up the process.
Right? I feel like a proud parent . And that's why she's magical...we all think she's ours.
Oh my god, her laugh is amazing! She needs to play Cruella DeVille
She would totally nail it!!!
Excellent idea! Get to work, Universe ✨💫
She would play a fantastic Ursula as well!

Poor unfortunate souls
I just want to say that this was an amazing interview. Jinkx was nothing but Charming and lovely like always and Seth was amazing.
Love a host that talks to a crossdressing superstar the way they would speak to any other celebrity guess, as that is what they are, a celebrity. Not a joke, not a spectacle, but a celebrity. So nice to see ❤
She’s a drag queen not a crossdresser
@@matthamilton875 isn't there overlap though to where it's like.. all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares
@@stillnotstillthere is! but especially bc jinkx is non binary i wouldnt say crossdressing bc that kind of implies ure a man dressing up like a woman :)
Jinkx is pure charisma uniqueness nerve and talent
So happy for Jinkx!! And the fact that she got to show off her spot-on impressions was the perfect bow on this appearance!
I knew Jinkx could do the Judy & Natasha (as seen on RPDR), but the Jennifer Coolidge?! DAMN, that was AWESOME!
Great to see Jinkx on this show as well btw. Love it! And love them!
I’ve never seen Drag Race, I’ve never seen her ever, but I’m instantly a fan. What a doll! ❤
She's my favorite queen. And I mean FAVORITE. She was the underdog on her original season, which was one of the first two seasons I saw. She was my favorite then and I was hoping she would win the entire time. I was so happy when she won, and now it's in my top 3 favorite seasons.
If you want to see her perform back then look up Malambo No. 1 Lip Sync For Your Life.
@@michaelinthebathroom7560 that lip sync was fucking legendary! One of my favorite rupaul lip syncs ever, possibly my favorite. By that point we had never seen her lip sync, and I was quite worried tbh I had no idea she was gonna win and the second last episode often seems to be when the funny iconic ones get eliminated, and Detox is pretty fierce, so watching her whip out that kick ass performance and absolutely obliterate Detox, shattering Roladox in the process, was just fucking legendary.
@@simonrooney2272 Honestly same. Probably my favorite lip sync of the season, which says a lot considering the Whip My Hair lip sync was that season.
Well baby you have some learning to do
To go from Drag Race, to Broadway, to playing a villain on Dr Who, absolutely mind blowing!
I love how she deftly corrected Seth that Ru is the Queen Mother without shaming him or anything. Classy. 👍👍 Edit: lost my sh*t when they did Jennifer, so perfect
The energy of the audience in her opening night was 🔥🔥🔥 Jinkx was so good! ❤
She deserved it. A standing ovation the second she walked on stage was exactly what she deserved.
I have never seen anyone walk onstage and sit down in one of those chairs so elegantly. It looked very old Hollywood and wonderful.
She's so soft spoken...curious to see her Mama Morton.
The impressions are a hoot!💖🤣
she's there till mid march! i saw her and really enjoyed it, she has a strong voice for the part
@@normalizenatalie Awesome!💖
She kills interviews, of course. The Jinx of all Trades ❤️😂 Her talent knows no ends.
I’m so incredibly happy that the world is being introduced to her. She is so unbelievably talented and charming! She looks fantastic.
Jinkx meant so much to me when season 5 was airing, and I remember hoping that their dreams of doing Broadway would come true
So happy and proud to see Jinkx Monsoon's incredible persona and talent recognized and celebrated (no matter how one identifies oneself) in Broadway and on a a program like Late Night with Seth Meyers! May her success and popularity continue to grow! 👏👏
Legitimately one of the funniest & talented performers I’ve ever seen. Jinkx commands every stage she’s on. I will forever be impressed by any objective metric.
Little Edie will forever be my favorite Jinkx impression ❤️
Sooooooo AWESOME that JINX is continuing to break down barriers and spread her talent on many different shows #QueenOfQUEENS
I'm simply stunned at Jinkx's comfortable demeanor. My Lord, what a natural. I'd love to see more in a TV show of her own.
Jinkx Monsoon really deserves the role of Mama in Chicago! She is the most talented Queen among many, many talented Queens. I love her and send her my best wishes on her successful Broadway run! ✌🇨🇦❤❤🎊🥳🎉✨🎆🎇
I am shaking! I always wanted Jinkx to be on late night! This is so cool, and so well deserved!
SO SO SO PROUD OF MISS JINKX.. It is and forever will be MONSOON SEASON
This is one of the smoothest, chemistry-filled interviews I've ever seen. Jinkx KILLED this - she's a natural superstar.
It’s so amazing to have watched Jinkxx in Portland for our first drag show at Boxes Red Cap sooooooo long ago and see how far her stardom has taken her. She was delight back then and even more today. So proud of her!!!
Yesssss this is huge!!✨ so proud of Jinkx!! can’t wait until it will be a regular thing to see drag performers on late night tv!!
She's always been my fave! Her talent is ENDLESS! Love this for her!
She was the absolute best part part of the second episode of the new season, what a delightful villian
So funny, so charming, so talented, and I’m so glad she’s doing Broadway
She has such a lovely voice and tone. I could listen to her read the phone book and be fully entertained and mesmerized
This is why I love Seth! We must support our drag queens, especially at this moment in time. So happy for Jinkx!
OMG Jinkx!! What an icon!!
The outfit was GOOD and the entrance was perfect. Love seeing another Queen get some limelight, especially Jinx.
From a distance yes, but close up that neckline is crunchy! Can't understand it!
I've been a huge jinkx monsoon fan for yrs Im so proud that her dream came true to perform on broadway in drag congrats jinkxy you did it we love u, so much
My first intro to Ms. Jinkx. I found myself slipping into this light, calm space listening to her talk-could have kept listening for hours. Nice. Thanks for introducing me to this human Seth!
Jinkx is such a gift to us all. Talent and charm. She makes me feel absolutely wonderful every time I see her. Thank you Jinkx.
I cannot get over her laugh, It is SO contagious I'm IN LOVE with it

Jinkx just knows how to do it. So proud of them. ❤️😌
I can't wait to watch the incredible journey into goat status. Movies, theater, Netflix series, SNL, commercials... Give 'em all the gigs!
I’m so happy for Jinkx! So glad her talents are now being shared and embraced by more of the world! ❤
Jinkx has earned every bit of her success by being a delight as a human being and one hell of a hard-working and talented performer. Her Seattle fans are so proud of her. We love you Jinkx!
